The service was attentive & warm, & the ambiance set the perfect tone for the evening. The food was exceptional the ramen with duck leg & truffle oil was rich & flavorful, while the cod cheek skewers were buttery & perfectly prepared. The sashimi was fresh & delicate, & we paired it all with a great bottle of Japanese natural wine, Anfora Rossa 2021, which was just perfect. A refined & memorable experience highly recommend.
We had the karaage & the chirashi here, along with drinks. The karaage was lovely, & for the price, the chirashi had a good amount of sashimi on top of a bed of rice. The only thing I'd complain about is the strong garlicky taste of the fish in the chirashi. There isn't supposed to be a garlic taste in chirashi whatsoever - I'm assuming it was to mask the fishy taste or possibly smell? But I'd prefer lemon or something else, not garlic, as it was a bit overpowering. Otherwise, the server was lovely & attentive & we got everything we needed.
Consistently incredible, & I don't say that lightly. The quality of the fish is very comparable to what I ate in Japan. The atmosphere is lively but never tooo loud or obnoxious. The staff is amazing. They're well versed on the menu & offer very great service (rare these days at most restaurants). The Sashimi is a MUST-specifically the chef's choice selection. They also have Grape Republic by the bottle, which you should absolutely splurge on for a special occasion. I've dined here several times & absolutely love it.
A cozy spot perfect for a casual night out. We went in on a weekday without a reservation, & there was no wait at all. Highly recommend their drinks, sashimi, & nigiri. The ramen & mazemen were okay. The staff were incredibly friendly & attentive. Fast service
Really good food (Japanese/Asian/a bit of Western fusion food)! I love it so much. The sashimi was fresh & delicious (only one kind of fish was okay). We ordered five different dishes, & they were all well-made, fresh, & tasty. The servers were super friendly. However, the price was quite high. I feel the presentation of Nirigi can still be improved. But will be back again!
One of my favorite Japanese restaurants with both fresh sushi/sashimi as well as mazemen noddles. It also accommodates for vegeteiran options as well. They also have a great drinks & sake. Last but definitely not least, their staff is incredibly kind & even accommodates children & infants. For budget friendly options, they have an omasake (chef's choice) from Monday to Wednesay 3 course meal for 45$ which is incredible value (we had lobster & octopus included)
Small sashimi pieces compared to other places, good ramen & great gyozas! I really suggest the dumplings.
Amazing Japanese food selection, fresh sashimi, chirashi options & crab bao. Absolutely love the Grape Republic wine selection. Wish more people new about this place so they would get the traffic they deserve ❤️
I regret not capturing photos, but the experience was simply outstanding. The service was exceptional; they checked for allergies, & once confirmed, we placed our order. Everything was delightful & refreshing. The flavors were sophisticated & carefully crafted. We savored dishes like the Piri Kara Nasu, a fried eggplant marinated in miso soy sauce with chili, served cold, as well as shrimp & pork dumplings, & the chef's choice sashimi.
Very surprised by all the strong reviews. I had high expectations & they fell flat. The crab bun had good flavor but the crab was tiny & had practically no meat. It just added crunch to the bun. The sashimi platter disappointed me the most. It says it comes with 10 pieces, with 2 slices of each fish. The slices were so thin & small that it was as if they took a slice meant for 1 person & sliced it again. Uni mazamen had a clumpy creamy sauce that didn't taste like much. Uni & Ikura were not fresh at all. With that being said, service was great! Cozy place.
The restaurant was cozy & nice! The staffs were very professional & kind! We ordered fried chicken to share & I ordered a porc katsu! I liked the mashed potatoes but wish if they could have served rice with it! The portion was pretty big so it might be better to order some other small dish & share! I think this place is more known for sashimi & nigiri, so that is something I am going to try next time!!
