My partner & I decided to go out the other night & were unfortunately met with quite an unpleasant experience. When we first arrived it was rather busy so it took a bit to get seated which is fine but then after we waited around 15 minutes to just get a menu & then even longer to order. The drinks were fine but nothing exceptional. To eat I ordered the flank steak which was under salted as well as the fries. & the steak had an unpleasant gasoline flavor probably as a result of bad temperature control of fat when cooking causing a flare up. Not to mention until halfway through eating we hadn't even been given water yet, so I had to ask for some myself. For dessert we shared the chocolate mousse which was fine except I found a weird gelatinous like glob likely from undissolved gelatin or unwhipped egg white & a chunk of not completely melted chocolate.
The worst part came when I asked for the bill. For the first time in the evening the server tried to engage with us by asking if we are tourists to which we responded no we actually live in Montréal. He then accused us of why we don't speak French. This could have been playful banter but given this was the first time he talked to us we didn't feel the rapport yet to joke around, & also the rude assumption that we do are tourists since we don't speak French. The irony is also I do speak French.
Overall the drinks & food were okay but the service was quite poor, & our final interaction left us with a very unpleasant feeling. Unfortunate as I had visited with my father before & had rather lovely experience & wanted go share this with my partner which clearly did not go as planned.
amazing ravioli, incredible desserts! the strawberry macaron was AMAZING!!!! & the chocolat mouse fleur de sel! chaban was very sweet & tended to us all with patience & care
J'ai mangé donc je ne peux commenter la cuisine mais petit bar a vin très cool, belle ambiance, superbe carte d'alcool ! Staff sur les lieux, hyper aidant & agréable.
My girlfriend & I had the pleasure of dining here yesterday evening, & it was honestly one of the best restaurant experiences we've had in a long time.
We decided to sit out on the patio, & as the sun started to set, it created the perfect atmosphere. It was peaceful, relaxing, & made for such a great evening. The table was spotless when we arrived, & the staff greeted us with warm smiles & excellent service from beginning to end. Everyone was friendly, attentive, & made us feel genuinely welcome.
The food was outstanding. The charcuterie board was definitely the highlight of the meal. It was beautifully presented, incredibly fresh, & offered a fantastic variety of meats, cheeses, & accompaniments that all paired perfectly together. Every bite was delicious, & it's something I'd absolutely order again.
The eggs were cooked perfectly as well-fresh, flavorful, & surprisingly memorable. Sometimes the simplest ingredients say the most about a kitchen, & these were excellent.
To top it all off, the beer was served ice cold, exactly the way it should be, & the wine was perfectly chilled & complemented the meal beautifully.
What really impressed us, though, was the value. The portions are incredibly generous, & you get an amazing amount of food for the price. It's rare to find a place that delivers such high quality while also giving you so much for your money. If you're looking for great value, this place is hard to beat.
Between the amazing food, fantastic service, beautiful patio, & welcoming atmosphere, everything came together to create a perfect evening. We left full, happy, & already talking about coming back. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable meal & excellent value. Five stars all the way!

J'ai reçu un service inacceptable d'un serveur qui semblait être le gérant. Nom inconnu mais il avait une barbe noire.
Ton agressif & impatient lors de notre commande de nourriture. Puis lorsque je laisse la moitié du pourboire, il vient me revoir d'une manière brusque & intimidante pour me demander la raison en me faisant de la pression de devoir payer le plein pourboire.
Les petites bouchées sont délicieuses, surtout les planches de fromages & les salades fraîches. La sélection de drinks est vraiment large, il y en a pour tous les goûts. Le service est super amical, ça rend l'ambiance encore plus agréable. Une place où j'aime revenir.
I noticed a guy from the restaurant dumping grease in the sewers, good luck in eating there .
