Bar Kabinet offre une ambiance chic et intime avec un programme de cocktails créatif et un service attentif, et l'espace semble accueillant au premier regard; cependant les places assises peuvent sembler serrées et les petites tables nuisent au confort, tandis que la nourriture est souvent décrite comme correcte mais pas particulièrement mémorable et les portions peuvent paraître petites au regard des prix; de nombreux avis soulignent les boissons et les associations caviar et champagne comme des points forts, et l'endroit fonctionne bien comme étape avant le dîner ou pour prendre un verre entre amis, avec des visiteurs généralement enclins à revenir pour l'ambiance et les boissons même si un repas complet ne répond pas toujours aux attentes.
Drinks were good, food was good, but the service was subpar & the music/DJ was so incredibly loud you could barely hear the person next to you. One thing I ordered never even made it to the table, they just forgot. I even mentioned in my reservation that there was a birthday in the group & they didn't even acknowledge it. Once we got everything we never saw the server again. Overall a below average experience & I wouldn't go back.
Never been so disappointed with food.
We took the menu degustation, so tried several plates. No flavour & very bland. We were 12 people & we all left hungry.
Some plates were barely touched the waiters didn't wonder why. The fish smelled really bad as soon as the plate landed on the table. The dessert was a big flop too. I did not enjoy one single bite that night. How can a place not have one single good thing to eat? Portions are ridiculously small as well.

Malheureusement, je n'ai pas été complètement satisfaite de mon expérience au Kabinet. Nous avions réservé une table pour éviter le bar, mais on nous a placés sur des tabourets où mes pieds ne touchaient pas le sol. Ensuite, nous avons commandé le caviar avec du champagne. Quand j'ai posé des questions à la serveuse, elle m'a expliqué que le caviar n'était pas uniquement des oeufs d'esturgeon, mais un mélange avec d'autres oeufs, ce qui m'a surprise & ne m'a pas semblé approprié pour un service de caviar.
Le caviar a ensuite été oublié & notre repas a commencé avant qu'on nous le serve, ce qui a créé un problème avec le champagne, car nous avions déjà choisi du vin pour accompagner le repas. La nourriture était très bonne, mais le service de caviar m'a déçue :Les chips maison ne convenaient pas mais c'est une question de goût personnel.
J'ai terminé la soirée debout, car je ne pouvais plus rester assise sur le petit tabouret avec les pieds dans le vide. À cause de tous ces détails, je considère que mon expérience globale ne mérite que trois étoiles sur cinq.
It wins you over at first glance. The space is undeniably charming-warm lighting, thoughtful design, & an intimate atmosphere. It's aesthetically pleasing in a way that suggests a carefully curated experience.
Unfortunately, the reality doesn't quite live up to the setting.
We were seated at a wobbly table-a small detail, perhaps, but one that instantly chips away at comfort. It's something that's easy to fix & hard to ignore. The tables themselves are also notably small, packed tightly together in what feels like an effort to maximize capacity. While understandable from a business standpoint, it comes at the expense of ease & intimacy. Instead of feeling cozy, the space can feel cramped.
The cocktails were creative, well-balanced, & reasonably priced. It's clear that the bar is a strength. The wine list, though short, is well-selected as well.
The food, however, was underwhelming. The bites are serviceable but not particularly memorable. The beef tartare, in particular, lacked the depth & seasoning one hopes for-it felt flat & uninspired. At those prices, you expect something that excites the palate, not something you struggle to recall the next day.
This works well as a pre-date night stop: a place for a good drink in an attractive setting before heading somewhere else for dinner. We're glad we gave it a try, but between the cramped layout & the forgettable food, it's not somewhere we feel compelled to return to.
My friends & I walked into this beautiful place on a Thursday night without a reservation & were immediately sat at the bar. The staff was super friendly, the drinks were excellent, & the decor is so chic! I had a pornstar martini, which was one of the best drinks I've ever had. I can't wait to try the food here next time!

Fantastic experience! The duck was delicious, & the fries with the bell pepper sauce were incredible. The tartare was also amazing-even for someone who isn't a big fan of salty dishes, it was perfectly balanced & flavorful. & the drinks were amazing,truly a Craft bar. Carrigan was so friendly, welcoming, & funny-she made the meal even more enjoyable. Ixchel was also wonderful, & their great teamwork really stood out. Looking forward to my next visit!
Belle découverte dans le quartier. Cuisine assez bonne mais pas exceptionnelle. Bonne variété de plats & cocktails. Un peu bruyant, mais bon c'est un bar plus q'un resto. L'avantage est qu'on m' entend pas les voisins! Cuisine ouverte qui permet de voir les chefs à l'oeuvre!
Quelle soirée, nous n'avions aucune attente & nous sommes ressorti bluffés! Le staff est formidable, iels se sont occupé de moi & ma famille avec grand soin. La maître d'hôtel parfaite & le barman très sympathique & accueillant. Les busboy & girl nous ont servis avec une grande attention & nous nous sommes sentis choyés. La carte des vins est très belle & les cocktails à tomber! Je recommande chaudement, n'hésitez pas!
