Adorable little cocktail & wine bar tucked away in the mile end. We had two cocktails & the recommended rosé as well as a bowl of their marinated olives. It's a super cute location with a charming & helpful wait staff. Stop by if you have the chance & enjoy an inventive cocktail or really excellent glass of wine!

Pretty good food, & good atmosphere too (gets lively weekends & evenings) - but the most impressive thing is the level of service from the staff - they are quite meticulous in their hospitality despite this being a more chill bar... I really appreciated how one waiter specifically approached me when I was standing awkwardly with my & my gfs jackets & came to take them to the back. It's a small thing but he was very attentive & watching to see how he could help, I'm new to Montreal from Toronto & this type of hospitality is one of the things that impressed me most about the Montreal restaurant scene & especially Henrietta.
Service was nice. Salad that tastes like battery acid? Risotto that tastes chef boyardee? Extremely overpowering mayo taste in devilled eggs? Gnocchi with creamed corn that tastes like weird cake with barrier of unseasoned bitter leaf & stale popcorn preventing you from tasting it? Cocktails that taste like soda water? Say no more! Ok, but does the chef taste their own food before serving it?
We just happened upon this place as we ate nearby & we're looking for a place to have a cocktail before heading home. It turned out to be a great choice as their bartender was very skilled at making cocktails - both the traditional ones as well as the newer trendy ones. The decor was appealing & the vibe both indoors & outdoors was great... on a Tuesday night. Will have to return to try the food.
I enjoyed the food & atmosphere! Only downside was it took awhile for someone to come get our food order to the point where I when to the bar & ask. But after that, there was a waiter that consistently came over to us every 10-15 minutes making sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely go back as the food was really good & overall had a great time!

Une terrasse agréable & un intérieur très joli bien qu'un peu trop bruyant. Le bar Henrietta est un super lieu où se retrouver pour boire du bon vin, les cocktails y sont bons bien que pas non plus exceptionnels. La nourriture est très bonne, meilleure que dans la plupart des autres bars. Je recommande notamment les gnocchis & le ceviche. Très bon service également.
Bar Henrietta has always been a bit of an anomaly to me. The atmosphere is fantastic but the service is extremely middling & the food is, more often than not, overcooked. I really want to love this place, but just can't. Overpriced cocktails, average food, average service. Good vibe though.
My favorite new discovery in Montreal 😍 I went there with my husband on a Tuesday evening & we absolutely loved our experience. It was pretty packed for a Tuesday night & the playlist was making us feel like we were on vacation. We tried the pop corn first which was addicting. Then we had the octopus & the Foie de volaille & both were fantastic. Kim our barmaid was great to watch while she was mixing & serving all kinds of cocktails. We tried few cocktails from the menu which were refreshing & delicious. All in all I give our experience a 10 on 10. We will be going back to try more food & cocktails.

Pour ceux qui n'ont pas l'habitude des débits de boisson bondés (c'est-à-dire, moi), l'expérience peut décontenancer en raison du niveau de décibels nettement au-delà du tolérable, où clients & musique s'efforcent de s'enterrer l'un l'autre sous un torrent de bruit. On nous avait initialement assigné deux tabourets fixes devant le comptoir en aval, au milieu du brouhaha. Ayant constaté la disponibilité d'une charmante petite table pour deux dans un coin plus reculé, j'ai sollicité un transfert. J'ai cru à tort qu'on serait plus tranquilles à cet endroit, mais là où il y avait moins de gens, une série de haut-parleurs contribuait à surcharger l'espace sonore de plus belle. Ce matin, mes pauvres oreilles sensibles me le font payer d'un silement, un rappel agaçant du fait qu'avec le son, tout comme avec les boissons, il faut y aller avec modération. En revanche, mon estomac, lui, était en joie. Le bar Henrietta lui a procuré exactement ce qu'il désirait : de ravissants petits plats remplis de saveur & de bons coquetels, le tout à prix relativement modique (total : 55 $ par personne). Un excellent tartare de boeuf (mon numéro 1 de la soirée), une mousse de foie de volaille que mon amie a nettoyé ainsi qu'on nettoie un pot de Nutella, du maïs soufflé au manchego qui se faisait décimer un morceau après l'autre &, enfin, un ceviche frais & goûteux. Trois des quatre plats étaient assortis de minces tranches de pain grillées à la quasi-perfection, croquantes en surface, mais tendres en chair. Toutefois, leur présence multiple m'a paru quelque peu redondante & peut-être y avait-il là un « concept ». Mes yeux n'étaient pas en reste non plus. La présentation des plats était recherchée. De plus, la salle à manger est revêtue d'élégance avec ses murs blancs, ses globes lumineux & ses miroirs. On retrouve donc le même bon goût visuel que dans la taverne Atlantic, autre établissement de certains propriétaires de l'endroit. Mon amie & moi avons naturellement voulu profiter de l'esthétique du lieu pour nous tirer quelques portraits, mais dans la pénombre, nos visages ressortaient évidemment moins bien ! Bref, avis aux pépères gastronomes comme moi qui préfèrent un peu de quiétude, il vaudrait mieux s'y rendre peu après l'ouverture, en semaine, plutôt qu'à 21 heures un samedi soir (!) Malgré la protestation de mes tympans, je ne refuserais pas d'y retourner en saison estivale pour la terrasse & pour la dégustation d'autres petites gourmandises : le sandwich au fromage, les oeufs mimosas, le sandwich portugais, les pleurotes...
