Une très belle adresse! Le lieu est magnifique & bien tenu. Le bar est somptueux & le personnel de service arborent des chemises & tabliers blancs immaculés. La carte des cocktails est très intéressante & le menu de nourriture est accès sur le finger food.
food wasnt great, we had a salmon tartare, a burger with fries, & a cesar salad with bacon. im not the complaining type of person but gotta say that the meat was burnt & fries were as salty as it gets, cesar salad had salad leafs (whole) & 2 thick bacon slices (also whole) nothing to say about the taste, it was good, but kinda hard to eat, not sure if its meant to be chopped or not.
Delicious cocktails that need no gimmicks to stand out from the rest of the Montreal cocktail scene. Every aspect of the food was clearly chosen with precision, & was incredibly flavourful.

Lovely spot for drinks right next to the park. Great outdoor terrace in the summer & the inside is cute as well. Good cocktail & wine options & the food menu has great options as well. Service was quick.
Did someone say 1$ oyster Sunday & Monday? Bar Dominion did. Fresh Oyster served with lemon & lime edges, two mignonettes & hot sauce. The cheeseburger was absolutely delicious, grilled to perfection. Great crowd & décore. Service was friendly & professional. I highly recommend a reservation.
Un immense merci à Isaac & Caroline pour leur service exceptionnel ! Professionnalisme, classe, attention, tout simplement un wow. C'est rare de recevoir un accueil aussi chaleureux & impeccable. We had a reservation for two, & the bar was half empty when we arrived. Despite that, the hostess took us to the far end of the bar, right next to the kitchen entrance, where it already smelled like fish. On the way there, we passed several available tables for two & four, & many guests were sitting in pairs at four-person tables with no issue.
We politely asked if we could move to one of the free tables, pointing out that others were sitting at larger tables too. The hostess insisted those tables were being held for larger groups. After a short back & forth, she finally agreed to seat us at a four-top (which wasn't even cleaned yet), cleaned it up, but warned us that if a party of four arrived, we'd have to move. The two-person table we were not offered remained empty.
This kind of treatment left a bad impression. The way the hostess handled it made us feel unwelcome, even though the place was far from full.
On the bright side, the cocktails were okay & the waitstaff were friendly & polite.
But honestly, we don't feel like coming back.
This restaurant is an12/10. It hits it out of the park for music, ambiance & the FOOD! We shared a bunch of appetizers including fried chicken with caviar (chef's kiss) , the calamari & the tomato burrata dish that we ordered alongside the deliciously grilled foccacia.
Would highly recommend.
Summer in Montreal means a terrace table, cold beer, & 24 fresh oysters shared with friends while we solve the world's mysteries one bite at a time. Life is good. 🥰
This tavern is beautiful. The fries & calamari were delicious.
&....they made me a perfect Mexican 75 (add it to your menu!).
The owner was so friendly & helped name some other hot spots for my niece & her boyfriend.
We hope to be back next time we're in Montreal!
