Came here with a friend for a little cocktail night out! It was walking distance from our hotel (the Sheraton) so we decided to give it a try! I ordered the Martingale & some fresh oysters. My cocktail was the perfect blend of strong, sweet, & citrusy. The oysters were also very fresh & paired well with the toppings!
We absolutely loved the vibe of this place-buzzing & lively but not too loud so we could hear each other while chatting. Would definitely recommend & I'll be coming back the next time I'm in the city!

Loved it. A casual Sunday night with cocktails, good wine, food, company (,cute waiters) & a genuinely welcoming vibe & setting. We got the calamari & Caesar salad (with drinks of course!).

Même seule, on se sent instantanément à l'aise : accueil chaleureux, échanges naturels, good vibes.
& puis… soyons clairs 😅 : le staff est aussi pro que charmant, avec ce petit magnétisme qui change tout.
Résultat : une soirée qui ne devait pas durer… & dont on se souvient.
Adresse dangereusement agréable. J'y retourne.
The vibes in this bar are *gorgeous*-super aesthetic in a way you genuinely wouldn't expect from the exterior. I came for a friend's birthday & it was such a fun spot for a night out.
Cocktail prices are pretty much in line with every other downtown Montreal bar, so you're not really coming here for a'deal,' but the drinks were **really yummy** & well made.
Food-wise: we ordered the **party platter** & I honestly wouldn't recommend it. It's marketed as a mix of smaller appetizers in one platter, but it felt like only 2-3 actual items from the menu, with **a huge portion of the platter being crudités**-& it was **$74**. That said, the sauces/dips that came with it were amazing, especially the **chimichurri**.
The mains helped recover the experience a bit. I had the **burger**-it was a good portion if you want something heavier, but mine was a little dry & kind of cold. Not bad, just not extraordinary. The **fries**, though? Dangerous. Genuinely addictive-best'drunk bar fries' I've had in a while.
Service was another standout: the waitress & staff were super hands-on & attentive, which we really appreciated. Overall, the drinks & ambiance were the highlights for me, & I definitely wouldn't be surprised if I ended up back here again.

The menu is refined yet comforting, & the cocktails are expertly crafted, balanced, & bursting with character. A perfect spot for a chic night out where Montréal meets timeless Paris.

Très belle endroit, les cocktails & la nourriture y sont très bons. Dj quelques soirs part semaine, qui amène une très bonnes vibes a se lieux magnifique.

Our happy place for cocktails & tapas style food after a long work week! Oliver & both Quentin's making us cocktails From another planet along with Dj Contact hitting the right tunes on a friday night, makes this bar 2nd to none! Love the vibe & everything else about it here!!!
Wow! What a find! The vibe is great. The food & drinks were amazing. We ate at the bar. Oliver was our bartender & gastro guide & he excelled on both fronts. The oysters were fresh & tasty, the focaccio app with the Jamon & Manchego app was a perfect combo. The salmon tartare was delicious. We could go on & on about the food but the drinks were amazing. Oliver's attention to each drink was a true master at his craft. We Highly Recommend!
We had a great first experience at Bar Dominion. The service was excellent, & the vibe of the bar is very cool. We ordered the Islander & the Pimms - both delicious. For food, we ordered the steak, lobster roll, & six oysters. We loved it all!
The vibe & decor are awesome. Great location, delicious food & beautiful cocktails! There are quite a few gluten free options/modifications if you talk to your server. Raj took great care of us & we will definitely be back soon!!
It's a fun after-work gatheting spot. A mix of communal tables &'shelf' seating. Fantastic cocktails. The food was simple but delish (tomato salad was the kind you wish you could get all year...calamari was light & delicate, fried chicken bites & caviar were crisp & hit the spot). We were definitely the'booners' in the room but loved the vibe, the DJ, & the service. It's loud, so not for the faint of heart or hearing.
I could see myself coming here on a regular basis at many different times of the day if I lived in MTL. Great vibe from food to drinks to people running the show.
Very nice atmosphere & very nice good. We went there for lunch on a Thursday (reserve if you are more than 5 people) Very nice vibes & the staff is awesome. Meal & drinks were great, I like the fact that lunch menu offert the appetizer with the main dish combined for one price. I took the Bruschetta & the Beet salad. Recommand !
2024: Bar Dominion: decor is classic. Music was a weird mix of reggae & disco. Doesn't really have the same classy Brit vibe as before at all. The Martingale was a mediocre overpriced cocktail. My sister enjoyed her tuxedo martini but it wasn't something I would get. No effort into drink presentation. Service was polite but not particularly attentive. Left after one drink. 2019: Dominion Square Tavern (5 stars): Always great service, strong cocktails, gorgeous decor.
