Je pensais prendre un verre.
La musique m'a retenue. L'ambiance m'a attrapée. Les cocktails m'ont convaincue.
Même seule, on se sent instantanément à l'aise : accueil chaleureux, échanges naturels, good vibes.
& puis… soyons clairs 😅 : le staff est aussi pro que charmant, avec ce petit magnétisme qui change tout.
Résultat : une soirée qui ne devait pas durer… & dont on se souvient.
Adresse dangereusement agréable. J'y retourne.

The vibes in this bar are *gorgeous*-super aesthetic in a way you genuinely wouldn't expect from the exterior. I came for a friend's birthday & it was such a fun spot for a night out.
Cocktail prices are pretty much in line with every other downtown Montreal bar, so you're not really coming here for a'deal,' but the drinks were **really yummy** & well made.
Food-wise: we ordered the **party platter** & I honestly wouldn't recommend it. It's marketed as a mix of smaller appetizers in one platter, but it felt like only 2-3 actual items from the menu, with **a huge portion of the platter being crudités**-& it was **$74**. That said, the sauces/dips that came with it were amazing, especially the **chimichurri**.
The mains helped recover the experience a bit. I had the **burger**-it was a good portion if you want something heavier, but mine was a little dry & kind of cold. Not bad, just not extraordinary. The **fries**, though? Dangerous. Genuinely addictive-best'drunk bar fries' I've had in a while.
Service was another standout: the waitress & staff were super hands-on & attentive, which we really appreciated. Overall, the drinks & ambiance were the highlights for me, & I definitely wouldn't be surprised if I ended up back here again.

Un endroit exceptionnel où il fait bon d'aller. Un rapport qualité prix exceptionnel avec de bons cocktails & de délicieux mets à partager. Une belle expérience à refaire sans aucun doute!

We had just finished dinner close by & were looking for a place to have a drink. Looked on google & saw it was dollar oyster night too. We opted to jump in here for drinks & a dozen oyster, cause why not?!
Boy, are we glad we did. Drinks were great & service was even better! Our server was awesome. We started bs-ing with him about where he would suggest us to eat. He had fun with us & even took time to write down a list for us of his favorites, which was awesome. He ended up getting off work & the guy who replaced him was equally as personable.
We almost went back the next night as we enjoyed it there so much.

A Lovely brasserie blending vintage glamour with a warm & modern vibe. Nestled in the heart of the city, it invites you in with its golden lights, mirrored accents, & effortless French elegance. The menu is refined yet comforting, & the cocktails are expertly crafted, balanced, & bursting with character. A perfect spot for a chic night out where Montréal meets timeless Paris.

We had a wonderful evening at Bar Dominion this week. The establishment was packed when we came in, the Habs were playing in a few hours & people were coming in to have drinks before.
The staff were very efficient, carefully explained the situation & conveniently updated us every few minutes as to when we would get space. Finally they cleared up some standing tables & we ended up being there for a bit. They then offered us to switch to better places once the crowd cleared up.
The bar was very elegant, as was the rest of the restaurant. A classic British-Canadian pub in the heart of Montreal that I would definitely recommend to people if they are in the area. There was a veey good mix of people inside & the bartenders were friendly & gave us unlimited waters without asking.

Cozy & curated, the perfect spot for delicious shareable plates & incredible cocktails. The staff were so thoughtful & considerate in service, from when you entered to when you left.

Excellente nourriture & très bonne place si vous voulez manger de bonnes huitres.:) Je suis 2 fois avec mon chéri car nous adorons ce restaurant. La première fois, le service était impeccable mais la deuxième fois nous avons eu un service lent avec un serveur qui venait à peine nous voir. Malgré tout nous recommandons cette place!

I visited this bar recently. There's ongoing construction in front, which understandably isn't the bar's fault but does make the entrance a bit unappealing.
Unfortunately, my visit was affected by the condition of the restroom - the toilet hadn't been cleaned & was visibly soiled, which was quite unpleasant.
I'm sharing this in hopes that management pays closer attention to restroom maintenance, as it really impacts the overall guest experience.

When in Montreal this is a must go to. The staff are friendly & efficient. The atmosphere is lively, even on a Tuesday evening 😆. The food delicious, we shared a few little dishes which went perfectly with Timothe's drink recommendation. Timothe's recommendation of the drink Archangel was spot on as we are gin drinkers. All of his recommendations were perfect!

Service was good! They checked on us frequently, maybe a bit too frequently. Food & drinks were nice, it's also very nice inside as well.

We found out we are missing the steak, they did not serve us. Also the cocktail shrimp is not fresh.

We had some lovely cocktails here. The cocktails were all great. It was a Friday night & it was crowded & loud (there was a DJ), overall fun & would come back for more drinks.
