Review Summary

Bar Chez Maurice is described as a great venue with an intimate show space, excellent sound, and a clean, welcoming atmosphere that makes for an enjoyable night out. Shows and ambiance are repeatedly highlighted as the main draws, with staff described as friendly and service generally good, while opinions on the food range from nothing special to typical pub fare. French reviews emphasize a superb ambiance, a very welcoming space, and a lively setting, though seating can be limited. A standout, imaginative account features the legendary 'Golden Idol' and the immersive moment of the 'Serpent's Kiss,' a drink that delivers a powerful sense of euphoria and earns a five-star impression. Overall, Bar Chez Maurice emerges as a solid choice for live music and social evenings where atmosphere, shows, and friendly service shine, even if seating is tight and the food is not the highlight.

No food, but great cover bands & they don't rob you on the cost of drinks. Great atmosphere & a really fun place to go for a GREAT night out! I rate it 2 BIG thumbs up! 👍👍

Went to see Supertramp cover band. They were really good. Did Supertramp really well . Only one complaint. Since it was a Quebec band, I guess they didn't think there were'any' English speaking people in the audience because any time one of them spoke, he did so ONLY in French, unfortunately.
