Perfect place for a noodle fix! 🍜 Bang Luck has a gentle way of bringing comforting Thai flavours to Montreal. I'd recommend going for lunch & benefitting from their combo meal which comes with a main & wontons for ~ 20$.
The food here was so good! My best friend made me discover this place & I was very impressed. I couldn't tell you if these are traditional or not, maybe not entirely, but they were both delicious. The service was good as well. This is a great casual spot to go to for a comforting bowl of noodles or soup.

Overall enjoyable experience but a bit pricey for what it is. The tomyum tasted great & the noodles were chewy. The soy noodle was very ordinary & didn't spark joy. The shrimp toast was greasy but was satisfying to eat. The papaya salad was a bit plain. The drinks were good but a bit small.
The place is small & doesn't have a lot of tables. We went for lunch on a weekday & were able to have a table right away after ordering.
Dommage.
Great spot to grab a quick meal. Bit confusing at first on how to be seated. You order at the counter & they will bring the food at your table. It felt more like a cafe, where you pick your spot. We really enjoyed the noodle dishes, both super tasty! The shrimp toast was too oily for my taste (maybe one off? since some reviews said it was a must). They recently opened so looking forward seing the evolution!
My daughter & I had lunch today at this restaurant. I thought the food would be delicious because the restaurant was almost full. Sadly, we were disappointed in the quality of the food. The sandwich - with a piece of bland tofu & a smear of hoisin sauce - was uninspired. The vegan soup had a fishy taste & was otherwise watery & bland. The fried tofu in the soup was also plain. There were a few pieces of vegetable in the soup & some noodles. Overall, it was most disappointing. When I spoke to the cashier Waitress, she said the other soup is more tasty however I did not want to order it because she said it was a bit spicy & I do not like spicy food. I suggested that the vegan broth be improved with garlic, ginger, good quality soya sauce, seaweed, etc. I would not return to this restaurant. Maybe their nonvegetarian food is better because there were a lot of people eating in the restaurant.

Excellent experience for our first time eating here. We got the fried chicken & rice, the dry noodles & a pork bao. Everything was so delicious! The chicken was so crispy, the bao was fluffy & the flavor of those noodles just wow. Simple & well balanced flavors. Can't wait to go back!
Definitely worth a try! For just under $70: two noodle bowls & two drinks + 15% tip. Appreciate the attention to details, from the type of ice they use to the way they slice the veggies, it makes all the difference in taste & experience. The soup broth had a subtle deep flavour that was addicting. Wish I could afford to eat here more often but will likely only be able to come (or eat out in general) for special occasions. Highly recc to try tho 🌟
The shrimp toast is tasty. It's greasy in a way that satisfies your fried food cravings because the shrimp filling is so flavourful & the bread isn't clinging on to the oil. I was expecting more from the tom tum noodles, it was a good noodle soup but lacked the flavours I was looking for from a typical tom yum soup. The chicken from the chicken rice was juicy but the texture of the rice was a little soft. Overall it was an enjoyable meal! & the thai milk tea was delicious!!
