BEST PÃO DE QUEIJO IN CANADA, no doubt. I've tried so many & this one takes the cake. Also, the corn cake is so moist & sweet. The vibes are great, & the staff treats you like a dear friend who's visiting their home.
Bah! Café is an authentic & delicious Brazilian coffee shop, I recommend it to all who wish to get a taste of Brazil! The staff are friendly & kind, the space is cosy & the food is heavenly. Definitely try the key lime cake,'farroupilha' (ham & cheese toast - yes, it's that good!),'pao de mel' (honey-chocolate cake) &/or coxinha (yummy fried dough with a perfectly-seasoned chicken & cheese filling)
Cool cafe with traditional Brazilian foods & an at home, in someone's kitchen feel. I didn't order anything as I wasn't hungry, but they were baking fresh pao do quejo & more. Also bummer that they didn't have decaf coffee...would've ordered that.
Vraiment excellent.
Absolutely love this spot! Bah! Café on Marie-Anne is the real deal for anyone craving authentic Brazilian flavor & a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Let's talk about the coffee-seriously, it's top-notch. They source their beans from Minas Gerais, & you can taste the difference in every sip. I've tried my fair share of coffee around the world, & this ranks right up there with the best.
But the real stars of the show? The Brazilian pastries. The pao de queijo is next-level-light, cheesy, & so fresh, some say it's even better than what you'd find in Brazil. Honestly, choosing what to eat is a delightful struggle-everything looks & tastes amazing.
The place is bright, cozy, & packed with positive energy. Big windows, friendly staff, & a vibe that makes you feel right at home. Whether you're looking for a spot to work, catch up with friends, or just treat yourself, Bah! Café delivers.
If you're in Montreal & haven't tried it yet, you're missing out. Highly recommend for coffee lovers, pastry enthusiasts, & anyone who appreciates a little slice of Brazil in the heart of Le Plateau.
Bah! Café offers delicious Brazilian food & excellent service in multiple languages-French, English, Spanish, &, of course, the beautiful Brazilian Portuguese. The place is full of light & energy, radiating a warm & welcoming atmosphere.
Choosing what to eat is a joyful struggle, with a wide variety of both savory & sweet options. The fruit juices, freshly made on site, are a must-don't miss the pineapple (ananas), it's a standout. The coffee is also top-notch-& I couldn't resist buying a bag of real roasted Brazilian coffee beans to enjoy at home.
My personal favorite is the chicken pie (torta de frango), but the coxinha (Brazilian chicken croquettes) & the light, absolutely delicious pao de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread) instantly transport you to a Brazilian household during a soccer game-a Brazilian soccer game-full of passion, cheering, & shared moments with friends & family.
Decent coxinha & pao de queijo, but service could be better from that middle age guy. Not so friendly like the cariocas when I was in Rio.
Visited it for the first time on a Saturday morning, from the start we already liked the place, very spacious, not crowded. Staff was nice, service was quick & everything was delicious - we tried the latte, coxinha,'pao na chapa' & a sort of coconut cake. I recommend this place.
The place looks great, well designed & friendly, lots of people working on their computers. I had only a "pao de queijo", it was terrible, it tasted bitter, not cooked enough, left a film of grease in my mouth, heavy & really expensive $3.75, I was very disappointed.
I have been on the hunt for some of the Brazilian foods I tried when I visited there in the spring, especially pao de queijo. When a friend sent me the link to this place I got so excited. Finally I found a place where I could get pao de queijo! My visit here did not disappoint. I did indeed get my pao de queijo & they were sublime. They serve them warm so each bite is a mouthful of cheesy bliss. The iced latté I ordered with it was also pretty tasty. If I hadn't been so full I would have ordered some of their Brazilian sweets, which all looked so tempting. I'll just have to make another visit I guess. 😀 The atmosphere is warm & inviting. On the day of my visit it was grey & rainy outside. Being inside the café made me feel like I was in a welcoming refuge. They also have some nice outdoor seating for when the weather is nicer. It makes me so happy to have discovered a Brazilian café because good Brazilian food is hard to come by in Montreal. Now I know where to come for when I have a craving for pao de queijo. I'll also be back though to give there sweets a try.
Cute coffee place, great environment, good coffee, delicious Brazilian pao de queijo. Very authentic.
Great place for Brazilian coffee & treats! The deco & sound track are pleasant & fit well. It's a good Brazilian coffee, more of a dark roast but really well prepared & tasty. The pastries... Oh the pastries... The cakes were amazing (coconut, corn), the pao na chapa (toasted bread with butter) & the torta de frango (chicken pie) were excellent, the same level that I get from great bakeries in Brazil! I'll definitely be back for more :)
