After living less than a five minute walk away from this place for almost 2 years, I finally picked up a baguette sandwich today. These sandwiches hit all the right spots- juicy & tender meats (I tried a mix of fillet mignon & mergez, & the guy making the sandwich very sweetly added some free chicken), a nice coleslaw, spicy tasty sauce, & perfectly toasted good quality bread.
Especially for the price, it's really good value for money. I tried some of the homemade lemonade as well & it was super refreshing.
The space is cheerful & colourful, the people running the establishment are kind & welcoming, & the food of course is delicious. Will definitely come back!
I've reviewed a lot of mtl restos over the years & I will say this one was unique & cool that it is based in Ivory Coast flavors. The sandwiches with the sausage & chicken were good, but if like me you ate it later, it will drip & become soggy, so better to eat fresh on the spot. The plain baguette was also very good. I like the elephants in the resto decor as well. For what I don't like. I rarely see these days restos that prep food without gloves. You guys should always wear gloves while making food, as it is really unappetizing & unhygienic. Also, I ordered another sandwhich which, when I got back, wasn't in the bag & wasn't charged on the reciept, & I made sure to say it loudly so it was heard. Therefore, it is always good to review orders before finalizing them. The service was ok, the guy spoke softly so I had no idea what he was saying. He also didn't smile, which adds to good service. If you guys improve this, I will definetly change my review to 5 stars if I come back another time.
I got the Chicken & Filet Mignon mix baguette, all dressed, with spicy sauce, & it was absolutely delicious. It had a nice kick & it was very filling. This restaurant has yams for fries & I got those too, but I wasn't a fan. They are a little bit like under cooked potatoes, but not exactly that. Definitely an acquired taste. My friend got one of their house juices & said it tasted of nothing, so I would avoid those, but their sandwiches are well worth it!
Have been here a few times & I have liked the baguette sandwiches previously. The last time I was here, I had a bag of bofloto. It was underprepared & without any sugar or any sweetness to it. Tasted like fried dough balls.
Nous avons fait venir des sandwiches pour un dîner d'équipe ! tout le monde a adoré🥰 j'ai pris poulet boeuf un régal, le pain est tout simplement délicieux croquant & moelleux. les chips maison salée juste assez très bonne avec leur petite sauce J'ai pris un jus d'hibiscus 🌺 good trop bon ! mélange avec un peu d'eau un délice & les tit beignets que dire j'en ai manqués 😜🤣 10/10 merci à nos collègues Jonathan & Nagina pour cette belle découverte

I had the pleasure of talking with the owner & I can assure you that even part of a chain, this brand make a simple & delicious sandwiches with pride & respect for ingredients.
Je m'en vais souvent chez eux ils sont hyper gentils ils donnent le meilleur service & surtout le jeune libanais qui est toujours dans la caisse il est vraiment magnifique à 100 % de service à la clientèle & j'aime beaucoup qu'est-ce qu'ils font surtout avec ses sandwiches mixte poulet & viande
J'y vais souvent, car j'adore les baguettes & les sandwiches qu'ils font ici, spécialement celui-là au filet mignon & poulet, toujours pleins de saveurs & fait avec des ingrédients frais. L'attention & le service sont bons, on apprécie ça. They could smile more though. Je trouve l'ambiance très chaleureuse & la décoration est belle.

*Sandwiches are amazing!! Ready in good time, however *the side order of chips was stone cold though - old from sitting around. Would have given 5 stars except it's as if they don't want clientele! They play the *music way too loud!! Walked in with a group of friends planning to stay & eat - nice big table in front of the main window! - but we couldn't hear each other talking, so we left after getting our bags of food. While waiting for our sandwiches & chips, we noticed quite a few people looking in (it's a corner location, lots of people pass by here!) but they would then just walk away, probably for the same reason; music is just too loud. *Good for take out ;)
