The best bagels in the West Island hands down...forget St. Viateur who's bagels taste more like fluffy bread. Bagel de l'Ouest have that slightly dense/sweet taste you expect an authentic bagel to have. The baking with maple wood sets the bagels apart further from their competition. I grew up in D.D.O & have since moved to Hamilton. Every time I come home to visit family I always purchase dozens of bagels for myself & family here.

Best bagels in the West Island. Hot from the wood-fired oven. I always pick up a few dozen to bring to my family in Ontario. They love them.

Bagels were Fresh, Hot & Chewy from wood oven. Just amazing. Bakers dozen at $12.50 on the nose. Gosh... what a treat. They also have a fridge of fresh soups, bread, rolls & some danish like pastries.
