Great BBQ but portion is smaller than expected. Ordered the whole menu - see in photos. Always a long queue so be prepared to wait. However, staff is always friendly & service is pretty quick.
Delicious bbq, was looking for one for ages in Montreal & this place truly did not disappoint. Huge portions & reasonable prices for high quality & refined food. Highly recommend. Especially loved the smokey juicy sausage, the brisket, the tacos & the buns. Great sauces too.

Ca fait déjà plusieurs années que je viens chaque année à Montréal & notre rituel familial est de venir manger des côtes levées & frites chez Alwyn. C'est toujours aussi bon. On passe sa commande, on paie & on attend que son nom soit appelé. & après on s'installe à l'une des tables. Même s'il y a du monde, on n'hésite pas à demander à partager une table aves des inconnus. Ici c'est ambiance bon enfant.
Nailed the brisket. Ribs were very good. Cucumber buttermilk salad was refreshing & I've never seen that before. Very difficult to serve this volume of BBQ at near-competition level quality but they're doing it well. Wash it down with a frozen margarita & you're having a great day at the Atwate
Hands down the best smoked brisket I've had in my life. Never had a cut of meat that tender, melts in your mouth. 🤤 The homemade coleslaw & pickles are very good too. Highly recommend. Look forward to trying their ribs next time.
Ah, le fumoir BBQ près du canal, où j'ai découvert que mes yeux étaient plus gros que mon estomac! 🍖 Pour seulement 13,50$, j'ai eu droit à une assiette de ribs de 3-4 onces, & bien sûr, j'ai pris une double portion. Parce que pourquoi pas? Le dernier morceau commençait à être de trop, mais qui peut résister à des ribs si bien assaisonnés? Pas moi, en tout cas! 😅 L'assaisonnement était parfait, pas trop sucré, même après deux portions. Bravo au chef pour ne pas avoir transformé mes ribs en bonbons! 🍬 & le cadre? Magnifique! Manger près du canal ajoute une touche de romantisme à chaque bouchée. 🌊 & si vous avez encore de la place (ou un congélateur), vous pouvez acheter des morceaux complets pour environ 20$ l'unité. Parce que rien ne dit "je t'aime" comme un gros morceau de viande fumée! 💖 Sur la photo, vous voyez 3-4 onze environs (donc 3 ribs, bien garnies).

First time trying out this place,it was pretty crowded & the service was fast. We had the beef brisket sandwich & overall it was good, I've had better beef brisket but it wasn't from Montreal. Will probably be back though
I took the pulled pork sandwich, & omahgad if it isn't the best one I've had in years I don't know what it is. Truly a 11/10. Service is impeccable, food is bussin bussin. I warmly recommend!
