For appetizers, we ordered the roast poultry rillettes. For mains, we had the beef cheek & duck confit, & we finished with a crème brûlée for dessert.
Overall, the dishes were well prepared & enjoyable. The beef cheek was tender, the duck confit was nicely cooked, & the crème brûlée was a satisfying way to end the meal. While nothing was particularly groundbreaking, the food was consistently good & the overall experience was very enjoyable.

Tres beau restaurant, typique d'un restaurant parisien. Decor authentique & soigné.
Belle variété d'entrées, plats & desserts avec des options végétariennes.
Plat goûtus, bien travaillés. Des vins absolument incroyables à un prix tout à fait correct. Le détail est la, les plats sont servis dans des assiettes bien chaudes & joliment présentées. Portion en parfaite quantité & produits de qualité.
Je conseille complètement pour une petite soirée, sans trop de prétention, juste pour passer un bon moment !
Tres bon restaurant francais,tout est bon ,rognons de veau, onglet de boeuf ,magret de canard , agneau , le cerf , la joue de boeuf,les crèmes en entree, belles portions bien accompagnees, nougat ,tarte passion mangue comme desserts & de très bons vins de collection privees , carte de vins élaborée, le menu montreal à table 2025 aussi flétan, chanterelles potage, Paris Brest ...

Found this on a whim while we were on our way to Quebec City. We got the duck confit, lamb shank, & crème brûlée for dessert. Service was impeccable with the host making sure that we were taken care of. I am rating the duck confit about 4.5/5 as it was a bit drier than expected but the flavour was on point. Would highly recommend this spot to anyone & would definitely visit again. Merci bcp!
Nous avons pris le faux-filet, nous n'avons pas trouvé la pièce de viande très tendre. Mais les accompagnements étaient bons & les desserts excellents.
Bonjour , je fréquente votre restaurant depuis plus de 24 ans assurément . À l'époque on faisait mettre une crème brûlée de côté dès notre arrivée pour être certain d'en avoir une au moment du dessert. J'ai été déçue hier . Le dessus de la crème n'était pas dur ni craquant ! Comme si on avait oublié le sucre. Mon magret de canard m'a été servi tiède dans une sauce très ordinaire. J'aurais aimé un soupçon de sel (fleur de sel idéalement). Je comprend la réalité de la restauration en 2024 ... je demeure néanmoins déçue. Bonne chance pour retrouver la qualité d'autrefois .

J'ai mangé la pintade, 2 petits morceaux de volaille tres tres sec, pour ma part tres dure à mâcher, jai du redemander un portion de viande car un de mes 2 morceaux était pratiquement sans viande (seulement un os) & la deuxième assiette de pintade était aussi sec que la première malheureusement
Les légumes dans l'assiette de ma conjointe étaient froid & peu goûteux
Excellent service! They have time limits on their menu explaining how much to order if you're seeing a show at the Cabaret Lion d'Or. The servers are very attentive, they would come at timely intervals & made sure we had everything we needed. The menu has wine pairings for the food. Our meal was delicious. We had the beef & fish. The best part was the chocolate dessert. The beef Gravlax was also delicious. I really recommend this restaurant whether it is for a pre-show meal, a date or even a large group event. Enjoy their large wine selection!
Le dessert (crème brûlée) & l'entrée (chèvre chaud) était extraordinaire. J'ai par contre été un peu déçue des ris de veau... La croûte enlève un peu du goût & texture au ris de veau à mon avis. Sinon, super!!!
Fantastic French food, very pleasant atmosphere, & super pleasant service! The cocktails, dessert, & coffee were also very good. One confusing thing was that a Negroni cocktail was $9, but a long island iced tea was $19. Either way, everything was great!
