The day I visited, they were out of vegan chili & didn't have any vegan sandwiches or wraps available. I ended up getting a bagel with jam, which was fine.
They offer non-dairy milk options like almond, oat, & soy-the Americano with oat milk was delicious.
They also had two vegan desserts, a brownie & an apple crumble.
I tried the apple crumble, & it was absolutely delicious.
The staff were very nice & pleasant, & the café itself is a cute little spot with cozy European vibes.
Absolutely loved this place! Stopped by Au Grain de Café while visiting Mont-Tremblant Village, & it was such a cozy little spot. The coffee was amazing-smooth, rich, & perfectly made. The real highlight was the croissants - they were super duper delicious, soft, & flaky. I'm not even a croissant lover, but this place honestly made me fall for it! 🥐A perfect spot to relax, enjoy great coffee, & take in the beautiful village vibe. Highly recommend! ☕
Stopped by Bistro Au Grain de Café during our recent trip to Mont-Tremblant for a morning coffee. ☕ It's a charming little café right at the top of the pedestrian village - with warm sunlight pouring in & a cozy, artsy interior that instantly gives you that'local favorite' vibe.
The line-up was quite long & the service a bit slow, though to be fair, it could have been because of the timing - it seemed like the go-to spot for everyone craving caffeine before starting their day on the slopes or trails. The coffee itself was regular, nothing particularly memorable in taste, but it did the job.
What really stood out were the thoughtful touches - they had two water bowls set out for dogs 🐶 & a jug of ice-cold water with reusable cups for guests, which was such a considerate detail, especially on a sunny morning. The interior decor was lovely too - bright, colorful, & inviting, with plants & cheerful art that made it feel both relaxed & lively.
Overall, a pleasant stop for coffee & a nice place to take a breather while soaking in the mountain village charm. A solid 4 stars for the atmosphere & thoughtfulness.
The decor of the place is really cute. However, that is all that is attractive at this cafe. The staff is quite cold & unwelcoming. The lack of warm customer service really stains the cosy vibe of the place. Drinks are subpar for the price they go. My experience there was not at all satisfactory. I would not recommend that place.
I just love the vibe & food specially banana bread 🥹😘 sooo good. I really appreciate that the girl took my order in English as I dont speak French❤️
Great vibe in a quaint little place. Friendly staff with good coffee.
I went to Opening Day 2023 to support the hill. I walked around & went through the stores. I wanted to celebrate with a special hot chocolate on the Tremblant Hill, as I remembered as a child. The cafe was not the ski hill vibe you would expect from a world renowned ski hill. Not enough seating, asking families to share their table for single patrons. An interior designer would have a field day to renovate this exclusive space to accommodate patrons who spend quite a bit of money to ski & stay at the hill. The cafe as it presents itself with large & multiple plants, you would expect to see at your grandmas house, is well enough for a small town not a ski resort . Witnessed 15 people in 20 mins leaving because there was not enough seating. The bathroom needs updating & a deep cleaning. Food stored on the ground in a traffic walkway to the bathroom. This is 2023 why does the Alterra Mountain Company not take a look through their merchants to make sure they represent the vibe they are selling. I do apologize for the blunt comments. I travel & ski the world full time & Tremblant is where I learned to ski over 50 years ago, needless to say they have a special place in my heart. The cafe needs an updated ski theme & menu. The staff are overly friendly which in some cases means they are over compensating for inadequacies.
