Amazing dinner, sea bass was very flavorful & as was all of the food. Stéphanie was our waitress, she was perfectly attentive & also gave us time. Eve clearly knows how to run a restaurant. We weren't hurried, she even brought me a small blanket - we chose to sit close to the back window. It was a lovely anniversary dinner & we will definitely return

My husband & I had a wonderful dinner, & were pleased to be able to sample a range of the chef's options through the Tasting Menu. We also enjoyed the creative cocktails & quality wines. The staff were delightful & made us most welcome.

A delightful & absolutely delicious experience-excellent Portuguese cuisine that stands out from the multitude of italian/burger/tavern restos in the area.

The two of us shared the following plates (all accompanied with focaccia bread baked in-house) :
• Amuse-bouche of potatoes topped with a shrimp mousse
• Plate of local cheeses
• Matane cod & shrimp fritters
• Whole sardines, grilled Portuguese style
• Grilled whole fish (dorade) of the day, Mediterranean'vierge' sauce (the sauce went so well with the fish)
• Pastel de nata (because you cannot possibly finish a Portuguese meal without one :)

All the wait staff were wonderful, helpful, & patient as they served us a delicious meal-kudos also to the kitchen team! We would definitely recommend Au Comptoir MarCel :)

2 ème visite en 2 ans (nous sommes de la rive-sud de Montréal), toujours aussi délicieux! De la gastronomie surprenante qui vaut la peine d'être découverte. L'ambiance & le personnel tout aussi agréable, nous nous gâterons certainement bientôt avec une troisième visite, merci!

Loved this restaurant experience! Friendly staff, amazing food, comfortable atmosphere. Our friends had the tasting menu & were extremely happy with the options. One of them has a gluten intolerance & the staff was very attentive & accommodating to it. My husband & I both got the Fresh tagliatelle with grilled shrimp & it was delicious. I had a Pastel de Nata & he got the chocolate lava cake - we enjoyed each immensely! Would definitely return!

Dans l'ensemble de la soirée, nous avons aimé notre expérience. Est-ce que le prix est juste selon l'ambiance & l'expérience? Pas tout à fait. L'assise n'était pas des plus confortable, le bruit était très intense pour une soirée en amoureux (à éviter) , la nourriture : l'entrée de pétoncles: extraordinaire, la bavette de boeuf: très bonne sauf(sauce manquante:décevant) & le fondant au chocolat: fameux. Plateau de charcuterie était décevant & tagliatelles aux crevettes:(crevettes un peu trop cuites), la sauce était bonne mais j'en fais de la aussi bonne. Nous avons goûté le bon travail derrière les plats (sauf la charcuterie) & notre serveur a été excellent. En général : bonne cuisine! Juste un peu trop chère.
