Terrasse adorable & très bien aménagée en été avec la rue Wellington fermée.
Mon seul bémol, serait la raisonnance de la salle de restauration, que je trouve un peu trop intense pour pouvoir avoir une conversation sans trop de brouhaha.View more

I was very pleasantly surprised how good this restaurant is & how delicious their vegan dishes are! We had their table d'hôte menu & it was great. Everything about the food was amazing. There was so much taste & the portions were simply perfect. We also really enjoyed the atmosphere which, in the evening, was really nice, especially with the window table.View more

Excellent resto végane, malheureusement le seul de Verdun. Les frites de tofu sont dans mes choix numéro 1, succulentes & gouteuses. Les brunchs sont tout aussi incroyables. Gardez ce resto en vie car il est le seul dans ce quartier!View more

Visiting The Archway was a very fun & delicious experience... I would even say unique! Beautiful decor, very friendly & polite service, great creative menu. The chicken & waffles was fantastic, I highly recommend it! The eggs Benedict was good as well, however it did not remind me of eggs Benedict. It did have a vegan egg & it was very interesting to pop the yolk & taste it (I didn't really care for the taste but it was an amazing imitation). The soup of the day which was Tom yum & dumplings was delicious. We also tried two adaptogen beverages (according to google, "an adaptogen is a non-toxic plant or mushroom substance that can help the body manage stress, anxiety, & fatigue"). We tried the two first ones on the menu, I believe golden latte & the mushroom hot chocolate. They were very comforting & tasty & definitely interesting to try!! I also tried a ginger & lemon cookie which was good but slightly dry & a blueberry muffin which also was quite dry but good, & in all fairness they were the two last pastries left so that might explain why they got dry. All in all, I definitely recommend trying The Archway!View more

This may be the best vegan food I have ever eaten (tied with Bloom). The artistry & creativity is unmatched. I have been vegan for 9 years, & searched for good vegan food in NY, the Bay Area, Philly, Vermont & many places in between, & I cannot find a match for the passion that Montreal holds for food. It's the main reason we keep coming back to Montreal (along with the spas & architecture). Our server was patient & knowledgeable. The decor was a welcoming warm minimalism that set a calm atmosphere. As soon as we saw the menu, I had high expectations. The drinks were next level creative & delicious. & the food was just perfection. The portions are very generous, so I recommend ordering a few entrees & sharing, if you're attending with a group. The server recommended the chicken & waffles, which was not at all on my short list. But I'm grateful they did, as I was thoroughly impressed with the myriad components. There was a such a balance to the flavors; something that is often overlooked in my daily routine of salads & bowls. The restaurant should be immensely proud of their work. The front of house staff create a welcoming environment while the kitchen creates amazing fare. Overall, an incredible meal that has me looking fiestas to my next visit.View more

Beau restaurant. Il y a clairement un bel effort fait pour le menu. Si vous êtes pure végane vous allez probablement aimer. Pour les autres je ne suis pas certain... Ce n'est pas un endroit très "végétarien-friendly". Faux oeufs, faux bacon, faux fromage, etc. Sans options pour la vrai chose. Il y a certains restaurants véganes qui sont très bien pour les végétariens ou les carnivores. Ici ce n'est pas le cas à mon avis. J'ai trouvé que ça manque de saveurs & que c'était difficile à digérer.View more

Quelle belle découverte que nous avons fait!!! Ce fut une explosion de saveurs, avec une qualité exceptionnelle dans l'exécution & la présentation!! Les plats & dessert étaient incroyable! Nous nous sommes tout simplement régalés!! De plus, nous avons eu un service extraordinaire! Essayez-le sans faute!!! Vous ne regretterez pas!!! Une cuisine vegan succulente (même en n'étant pas vegan). Ils ont une belle carte des vins & beaucoup de choix de cocktails savoureux. I was referred to Archway, & enthusiastically for brunch! I was super excited to try the Benedict. If I'm ever brave enough to eat butter & eggs again, I'm all over eggs benny. So, a GREAT vegan restaurant with a vegan benny? Cool. Except...the coolness of the "no egg" was outweighed by the overpowering sweetness of the jackfruit (sort of unsurprising as jackfruit can be a bit too much,) the chipotle was undetectable & the sauce tasted nothing like hollandaise, not even a near-but-vegan sort of thing. I feel I was upsold on their mimosa--albeit a cocktail version--& all I really wanted was some fresh squeezed oj. But, my bad, I didn't read that their mimosa was not MY mimosa. Interesting, but again so sickly sweet it was overpowering. Next time I'm in town, I'm going for dinner!View more

I really like their food but last time I ate here the food was so hot I literally got a second degree burn on my face that last almost 2 months of scarring. I told the server & she just said "oh". When my partner said "I don't think you understand. This is a serious burn. This would seriously hurt a child!" She said "oh I'll let the kitchen know". No comp or anything. We haven't returned since. Truthfully I am vegan & go to vegan restaurant for this reason. But the customer service in Montreal, especially at vegan places seems to be sub zero par & it's getting to the point I don't want to support bad restaurants anymore.View more
