This was such a picturesque location. We were seated right by the window & the lofi playing on the speakers was perfectly calming & chill. The plants set up around made it even more welcoming. Our server was super welcoming & friendly & equipped with our recommendations we were able to order some of the most delicious dishes I've ever had. Everything was very flavorful & had the most intriguing & tasty combinations. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I recommend trying their specialty hot drinks.View more

Visiting The Archway was a very fun & delicious experience... I would even say unique! Beautiful decor, very friendly & polite service, great creative menu. The chicken & waffles was fantastic, I highly recommend it! The eggs Benedict was good as well, however it did not remind me of eggs Benedict. It did have a vegan egg & it was very interesting to pop the yolk & taste it (I didn't really care for the taste but it was an amazing imitation). The soup of the day which was Tom yum & dumplings was delicious. We also tried two adaptogen beverages (according to google, "an adaptogen is a non-toxic plant or mushroom substance that can help the body manage stress, anxiety, & fatigue"). We tried the two first ones on the menu, I believe golden latte & the mushroom hot chocolate. They were very comforting & tasty & definitely interesting to try!! I also tried a ginger & lemon cookie which was good but slightly dry & a blueberry muffin which also was quite dry but good, & in all fairness they were the two last pastries left so that might explain why they got dry. All in all, I definitely recommend trying The Archway!View more

This may be the best vegan food I have ever eaten (tied with Bloom). The artistry & creativity is unmatched. I have been vegan for 9 years, & searched for good vegan food in NY, the Bay Area, Philly, Vermont & many places in between, & I cannot find a match for the passion that Montreal holds for food. It's the main reason we keep coming back to Montreal (along with the spas & architecture). Our server was patient & knowledgeable. The decor was a welcoming warm minimalism that set a calm atmosphere. As soon as we saw the menu, I had high expectations. The drinks were next level creative & delicious. & the food was just perfection. The portions are very generous, so I recommend ordering a few entrees & sharing, if you're attending with a group. The server recommended the chicken & waffles, which was not at all on my short list. But I'm grateful they did, as I was thoroughly impressed with the myriad components. There was a such a balance to the flavors; something that is often overlooked in my daily routine of salads & bowls. The restaurant should be immensely proud of their work. The front of house staff create a welcoming environment while the kitchen creates amazing fare. Overall, an incredible meal that has me looking fiestas to my next visit.View more

We came for drinks & nibbles. The service was great, really warm & welcoming even to english speakers who couldn't speak french! The cocktails were great & other drinks too. We got the melon sashimi that really impressed us all - it was perfectly balanced & super refreshing. We also got the green goddess salad that was delicious & had a lovely dressing. Absolutely delishious food. Highly recommend. Great service. Although, a little bit of constructive criticism...the strawberry smoothie my mom had needed more fruit & a little less what I think was pea protein based milk; the mimosas where very tasty but too sweet. Needed more orange juice & less syrup. Everyone else really loved their dishes. We were 11 people total. The pancakes ended up being too sweet in the end. My sister was only able to eat half of her plate. I had the Chicken Waffle, which was OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS !!!! The flavor combinations where right on point. Will be visiting again!View more

I expected a lot from this place. We ordered the tasting menu, an appetizer, & a main. First thing I noticed was that the service was pretty slow. Our dishes came slowly & we were in the restaurant for a total of 2.5 hours. Second, when the food came, we were very excited because it looked really pretty. But when we tasted it... It was just so bland. Like they didn't use any spices. Every dish was extremely one-note. For example the "shawarma" which we were excited for. Was just seared cauliflowers with a vegetal sauce. But it didn't taste interesting or complex at all. Overall, the food was just... Boring. & expensive. So I don't really recommend it.View more

We came here for our anniversary dinner & both got the Table D'hôte. The portions in general were very good for the price & we walked out of there extremely satisfied. The dishes in general were good but some of them lacked flavour. the gnocchi were really chewy & overcooked & the sauce was flavourless. It mostly tastes like mayo.... This was the same for the white drizzle of sauce around the cauliflower. Everything else was good. The brownie at the end was lacklustre & if I came again I would go for the cheese cake 🍰 which was delicious. The drinks 🍹 were also DELICIOUS & would highly recommend going for those!! I would suggest that the restaurant refines their gnocchi dish a bit.View more

Archway is a Verdun gem for anyone looking for an upscale take on vegan food in a comfortable setting. Every time I come here, the service is great, the atmosphere is nice & the food is so tasty. While it's so much fun to come here & get my fill of vegetables, it's hard to justify the price of the dishes considering they are vegan. Everything is delicious, but the prices are high & the portions are relatively small. I have tried every dish here, & the best one by far is the maitake steak. This dish is so filling & innovative combining different flavours & textures. I also highly recommend the drinks here. Alcoholic or not, Archway's drink menu is filled with phenomenal sips.View more

archway is truly an outstanding restaurant. i have been vegan for 10 years & this is without a doubt my preferred restaurant in the city; dishes are savoury & inventive, staff is pleasant & the atmosphere is refined yet relaxed. archway is always a great option, whether to dine solo, grab a coffee with a friend or share a nice meal with a larger group. i especially enjoy their seasonal menu changes, making for tasty new discoveries. i have brought many non-vegan friends here, who all seemed to enjoy their food just as much, if not more than me 🌱 10/10, would recommend to anyone looking for delicious food in montreal ✨View more

Initially I was a like disappointed being right in front of kitchen & bathrooms , we actually preferred the quiet of the corner. Please put a sign asking people to close the bathroom door & light, I kept having to get up to close light.

The place is lovely but the muaic didnt match it- Micheal Jackson Beat It? Instrumental music would go better witb the clean white decor.
The dumplongs were amazing, but the main dishes were not.the Fettucini was hard & there wasnt enough balamce between the creaminess & some greens or other complimentary flavours. The mushroom dish was super bland & way out of balance
They were kind enough to not charge us for the mushroom dish we didn't eat.
I like the brunch but do not recommend for dinne
via LibroMy sister & I both ordered the pancakes & we were very disappointed, they did not have the taste or texture of pancakes, we were unable to finish our meal at a cost of over $32,00!!! I would never recommend the pancakes to anyone! But the service was excellent!

Beautiful vegan restaurant on Wellington. Food was great for the most part. Highly recommend the gnocchi & tofu fries! Santorini salad was fresh, tasty & filling. Great variety of drinks. Loved my mocktail. I really wanted to like the baklava pancakes but they were quite hard & was difficult to cut through. Service could have been better. We kept having to chase our gentleman for water. He also forgot our drinks & we received them well after we started eating. He also spoke awkwardly & made more small talk than necessary while we were clearly eating & conversing amongst us. Maybe he was new? Still interested in going back to try more items on the menu. via LibroNice vegan brunch spot! The benedictine was really savoury & they also do nice matcha lattes. I wouldn't recommend the waffle plate, it was very dry & dense. The pancake consistency was better, but not the best flavours. I think their savoury dishes are better than the sweeter ones.
via LibroWe had a reservation for a brunch, but when we arrived the waitress offered us to sit at the bar because they don't have a table for us. I was like but that doesn't make sense, we have a reservation already. She was extremely rude without apologizing asked us to either sit at the bar, or at small side uncomfortably positioned table. Not going there again & don't recommend.
