I loved Antipode! Our server was kind & patient. We had to wait for our food but it was a reasonable amount of time. We never felt rushed. The prices are fair (they still have the 15% tip option, which is excellent). The food itself was delicious. I really loved the croque tartiflette. The sauce & caramelized onions were delicious. I would recommend you arrive slightly before 10h & start doing the line. It took a while for the second group to come in. So we were very happy to be amongst the first groups to be served for brunch.

My friend & i shared the yuzu dish which had a really unique taste & chicken & waffles, which was especially good. For drinks, we had the tiramisu latte which was out of this world. The taste & presentation was 10/10 & I've recommended it to all of my friends ever since - all of whom visited & loved it as well. Would definitely love to go back to try the latte again & the mushroom truffle benedict
The food was pretty good! I got the pain perdu & my friend ordered the croque monsieur. I love how there was burnt/melted cheese at the bottom! It gave the dish a nice crunch. My pain perdu had some yuzu on the sides (the dots) & it was really filling! We didn't end up finishing everything but it was delicious. I took a star off bc I got a rose latte & it was so chunky I had 2 sips & abandoned it! My friend got the pistachio latte & thoroughly enjoyed her drink. Cute decor, I can see why it's a popular spot in Montreal
Latté aux pistaches correcte. 8,50$ c est un peu trop cher, nous soupçonnons de l essence d extrait d amandes. Les oeufs bénédictines étaient bien bons. La salubrité des employés laisse à désirer. Lorsqu on se mouche, on se lave les mains, on NE continue PAS à faire un café 🤢.
Je viens de l'essayé & franchement service au top & qualité de produit au top aussi. J'ai fait une erreur dans ma commande malgré ça ils me l'ont pas facturé ( j'étais prête à le payer ). Je recommande fortement. Personnel accueillant & chaleureux

Saw this on TikTok & figured we'd give it a try. Totally worth it! Luckily, we got in line early so we got in right when the doors opened. But if you are stuck in line, they'll bring you complimentary chocolate croissants if you're waiting in line! The lattes were beautiful & tasty. The meals were so flavorful, & were presented with such care for breakfast food. I'll definitely be back here next time I'm in Montreal.
It's so worth the hype, even if you are just going for the pistacchio latte... The place opens at 10 am every day. We got there at 10:30 & had to wait 35 minutes for a table. But you know what? It wasn't that bad since the waitstaff came outside & brought us all some chocolatines while we waited. Finally our table was ready & our waitress sat us by the window. It was the best view for the spectators waiting in line, lol. After she graciously answered all our questions, she took our order. I opted for the Merguez Shakshuka because it seemed like the most popular dish. My friend ordered the truffle & mushroom eggs benedict. Both dishes were equally delicious, but the pistacchio latte was definitely the highlight of our meal. I would definitely come back, even if it's just for the pistacchio latte :-)
Personnellement, je suis venue pour découvrir & je trouve que cette place est plus ou moins sur côté (effet clientèle du Plateau)! Je ne suis pas impressionnée par le service, & encore moins par les plats commandes : latte pistache bien trop cher payé pour de simple pistaches collées au tour du verre avec un latte ce qui a de plus normal , Moka simple mais servi à peine tiède ! Pour ce qui est du croque tartiflette franchement rien de wow côté saveur & les oeufs bénédictine champignon/truffe & bien nous cherchons encore le goût des truffes ! Donc pour faire un brunch sans attente la place est correcte , mais de la à faire la line up 1:30 & bien non !
We went for brunch early during a weekday, no waiting in line, a lot of empty tables. Tables are very close together. High ceiling, plenty of light, a lot of plugs so I guess students & remote workers are welcome when it is not busy. "Cute" decor, very social media / influencer type of decot. This is why it's so popular these days. Food was the dealbreaker for us. I ordered the Nutella smarties drink, flavour-wise it was quite weak, yes it has Nutella & smarties around the rim, cute for the photo but that's about it. I ordered the Croque Tartiflette, the tomato & pepper puree as base (I guess from the Chakchouka?) kills the rest of the flavours... the Tartiflette in the name is totally misleading. One of us unfortunately found a hair on their plate. Obviously, this changed the vibe for the occasion. Waitress offered the person a discount & a free drink, which was declined... when this happens most people won't want to try anything else from the menu 🤷🏼♀️... It could have been handled better It's overpriced. Parking in the area is really difficult.

After watching a post on Instagram, my friend & I went to this cozy place. We waited an hour & half to get in. The staff was kind enough to offer pastry & hot beverage for those who were waiting outside. We ordered Tiramisu & Pistachio latte which were amazing. We also ordered mushroom & truffle Eggs Benedict, Salmon egg Benedict & the toast sandwich. The food was very tasty, we found the sauce mouthwatering. The only negative point was that the food served cold. Overall experience was good but not worth an hour & half of waiting in cold weather for sure!
Service is great at the restaurant! They handed out pastries in line too. Food itself is average to above average, & slightly over priced The vibes are cozy & nice. Would recommend for vibes & service.

Excellent menu avec une belle variété au niveau plats & boissons, en plus avec photos & description en ligne, ce qui aide à faire son choix! La nourriture est délicieuse! La présentation des plats est aussi un plaisir pour les yeux ainsi que leurs lattés: exquis! Déjà deux visites de ma part. La première fois, j'ai adoré le service. La deuxième fois, un peu comme d'autres commentaires qu'on peut lire, une des serveuse a vraiment été impolie. Pendant que je payais, elle est arrivée de nulle part & comme une sauvage, elle m'a littéralement pris le terminal alors que je passais ma carte dessus. Elle n'était même pas notre serveuse!! Elle me l'a pris rapidement, brusquement des mains sans aucune considération PENDANT que je payais. Un manque de classe & de civisme. Par contre, notre serveuse attitrée à notre table était très polie, elle m'a remis le terminal pour que je puisse finir ma transaction ( sans pour autant m'expliquer ce qui venait de passer). Pendant ce temps-là, l'autre serveuse ( la mal élevée)- nous regardait de loin avec attitude & condescendance. Au moment de partir, j'en ai glissé un mot au propriétaire & il a essayé d'expliquer son geste comme etant une maladresse. Ce n'est pas la première fois qu'on lit les commentaires des autres personnes sur Google Review sur les serveuses qui sont décrites comme jeunes & condescendantes. Bien que le propriétaire est avenant, professionnel & sympathique ( il s'assure de servir les tables, il travaille fort cela se voit), je vois qu'il excuse les manquements de ses serveuses en fournissant des explications un peu boiteuses pour expliquer leurs lacunes. D'ailleurs lorsque mon amie s'est rendue aux toilettes, elle est revenue à la table contrariée par une des serveuses au bar qui l'a accrochée lorsqu'elle s'est rendue aux toilettes sans s'excuser. Comme j'ai tenté de l'expliquer au propriétaire, sa serveuse aurait pu tout simplement venir me voir & me demander poliment : " pardon, je crois qu'il y a eu une erreur avec le terminal. Puis-je le prendre pour vérifier." Franchement, ça me dépasse comment elle est arrivée en trombe pour me l'arracher des mains sans rien dire & me le remettre sans non plus rien dire ni s'excuser. À la fin, elle aurait pu saisir l'occasion pour s'expliquer & s'excuser à ce sujet. Quand je suis sortie, elle marchait vers moi avec une attitude méprisante ( elle m'avait vu parler avec le proprio). Bref, ce n'est pas une question de former sa relève au niveau d'un service professionnel mais c'est aussi de faire un meilleur tri à l'embauche, car clairement elle n'a pas d'éducation.
Excellent ! Le brunch est incroyable & l'attente en vaut la peine. Propriétaire très accueillant & attentionné . Nous avons pu prendre place avec notre fille de 2 ans & une grosse poussette sans que cela pose de problème ! Meilleur brunch à Montréal ! Prix extrêmement raisonnable pour la qualité !
