Review Summary

Overall, Amelias is described as a cozy, welcoming family-owned spot with a warm vibe and strong consistency, now at the new Saint Laurent location while memories linger of the previous site. Pizzas such as Florentine, five cheese, Caprese and white pizza receive frequent praise, alongside pasta dishes like lasagna and ravioli with rosé sauce, and desserts such as tiramisu; the staff is repeatedly described as friendly and attentive, and the BYOB policy is a much appreciated perk. Some critiques mention occasional slow service, crusts that can feel heavier or breadier than toppings warrant, sauce acidity or underwhelming garnishes in certain dishes, and a few price concerns. Still, the overall sentiment is positive, with many considering Amelias a go-to pizzeria in Montreal and a local gem worth returning to.

I was really disappointed with my recent visit to Amelia's. Unfortunately, it was much better at the old location.
The food took a very long time to arrive at the table, & when it finally did, it was underwhelming. The dishes didn't taste fresh & were lacking flavor overall. Sadly, it also gave me a stomach ache afterward.
I truly hope this was just an off day, but based on this experience, it didn't live up to what Amelia's used to be.

Amelias is one of those cozy, welcoming spots that make you feel right at home the moment you walk in, with the smell of fresh pizza coming out from the oven 🍕

Their pizzas are the true highlight. The ingredients are fresh, & every bite tastes absolutely yummilicious. The Pizza Caprese, this year's Pizza Fest feature, is pure heaven. It is made with Saputo Gold cheese, giving it that rich, creamy flavor that melts perfectly with every bite 🧀

What makes Amelia's extra special is the warm, family-owned vibe. Every visit feels like a gathering with new friends adults & kids alike 😍

P.S: I've been going to Amelia's since 2022, back when it was on Milton Street, & their French onion soup is to die for 🫕

This beloved pizzeria, formerly on Milton Street, has found a new home-& I couldn't be happier to see them still in business! The classic five cheese pizza is truly one of a kind: rich, perfectly balanced, & absolutely delicious. Their salads are fresh & flavorful, making a great pairing with any pie. Also amazing Lasagna!

You can bring your own wine! It's the perfect spot for a relaxed, tasty night out. A local gem that continues to deliver.

This has been our favourite place to gather for some fresh pizza & we were not disappointed. Since we were a large crowd, we managed to reserve almost the entire restaurant to celebrate a McGill graduate. Joan was an absolute dear in letting us decorate & have speeches etc. a home away from home. Highly recommend the Tiramisu- which is lovingly made & so delicious
