I recently visited this cafe & found it to be quite charming. The ambiance is cute, & the service is notably friendly. While the coffee was decent, it didn't particularly stand out. However, the desserts were truly impressive & worth trying. One unexpected highlight was the decor in the washroom, which was surprisingly impressive & added to the overall experience. Overall, a pleasant visit with some delightful aspects. I would recommend trying their desserts & appreciating the charming decor throughout the cafe.View more
We have been trying -& failing- to come to this place since it opened two years ago. But every time we tried, it would be closed. Today we lucked out & there was no lineup. This is a beautiful dining experience if you are looking for a "high end" cafeteria style food. They have pizzas, some hot sandwiches, salads & a few hot meals but by the time we arrived, which was a little after noon & on their last open day before they closed for the holidays, there were a few unavailable items on their menu. So we settled for their chicken sandwich, a cortado coffee & a pistachio croissant filled with rhubarb filling. Absolutely delicious & top notch ingredients in every bite. So well worth the wait. The ambiance is airy & cozy at the same time. Loved it & would come again.View more
Note: It's very hard to rate this place because I have only been once. I plan to go again & might change my food review. The ambience is really good. There's some nice seating places, ample options & chance to reserve ahead. The food - not so good. Got a shakshuka & it costed $22. It was not flavorful at all. Just tangy & basically not tasty. The portion size was good & the presentation was good as well. One thing I wanna call out - the tips! Montreal servers - please if you expect tips please provide service. If I am dining out on a Sunday morning, it wouldn't hurt you to smile at me. I mean come on. A 10% tip gets me a frown & a 15% tip gets me no service. Why?View more

Jolie espace, mais déçue de la qualité des plats. Aussi, très peu d'options sans gluten.View more
Améa Café is a great place to go for lunch. It has a really nice atmosphere, the food is excellent & is beautifully presented. The aubergine dish was outstanding as were the fattouch & panzanella salads. The pecan pie was also delicious. Sasha, the manager went above & beyond to make up for one of the meals that took a long time to be served. His professionalism & helpfulness was greatly appreciated. Will definitely be back!!
Amea is one of the most beautiful cafés I've ever had the pleasure of walking into, even the bathrooms were designed by artists! Michael Coppa's skills shine through his pastries. His menu is also full of savoury options too if your planning to stay for breakfast & lunch, which you definitely can, their venue has ample too for you to sit & stay a while.View more
Cute spot to work at but needs more charging ports for computers & gets quite bust during lunch timeView more
Beautiful cafe with amazing food - little overpriced thoughView more
Well decorated. Pleasant, efficient service. The porchetta sandwich was delicious, especially with the cacciocavallo cheese. Croissant Supreme (the strawberry cheesecake one) was a bit much for me but would definitely be open to trying their other pastries. Seating is limited so I would avoid the lunch rush, thankfully someone was willing to share their table.View more
