Fresh cookies & puffs. The ice-cream loaded stuff is just plain nice. Tried the new strawberry matcha lattes, those were good too.
In winter there's some really good hot chocolate. Little bit pricy for the portions, but quality stuff.
Oh & the service is on point. No complaints there.View more

Alice & Theo makes, without a doubt, the best cream puffs in the world. If I were on my deathbed & could only have one last bite of food, I'd probably choose one of their pastries-assuming, of course, they'd actually be open. Which brings me to my main issue: this place operates on a schedule that seems to have been determined by throwing darts at a calendar while blindfolded. One day they close at 6 PM, the next at 9 PM. It's like playing a high-stakes game of'Will They Be Open?' every time you crave something sweet.
The interior is also… a choice. I can only assume they ran out of budget after perfecting their recipes because the decor has the charm of a forgotten waiting room at the dentist. It's giving'we just moved in' energy, except they've been open for a while. But hey, who needs ambiance when the food is this good?
& then there's their Instagram. If you've ever wondered what bad marketing looks like, look no further. Their posts have the chaotic energy of millennials on crack, mixed with a deep misunderstanding of what actually makes people want to buy pastries. It's not quirky-it's borderline anti-advertising. The cream puffs sell themselves, but this social media strategy is actively working against them.
So yes, their cream puffs are life-changing, & I will continue to put myself through the emotional rollercoaster of their random hours just to get one. But Alice & Theo, I beg you-hire an interior designer, commit to some normal hours, & for the love of all things holy, get a marketing team. You deserve to thrive, & so do your confused but devoted customers. ❤?View more

The vanilla cream puff that I had here was one of the best things I've ever eaten. The cream to puff ratio was 10/10 & the cream was so stable. It didn't ooze out & create a mess. Located close to Bossa, one of my favorite sandwich spots, & neighboring Ramen Isshin, this hidden gem offers delectable cookies & incredibly tasty puffs. Despite being on a fitness journey & trying to avoid such temptations, I couldn't resist. I'll need to balance this indulgence with another meal. The 3 chocolates trio cookie was fantastic. We tried three different puffs with amaretto, vanilla, & matcha fillings-all delicious. Among them, the amaretto puff stood out, making it worth a return trip! Way to go Alice & Theo!View more

Absolutely delicious. This is a very special dessert place in the Verdun area. Of you have lunch or dinner anywhere nearby, you have to come here for dessert. My absolute favourite place to come for sweets. The cream puffs are so good! On top of their usual menu, they're always experimenting with new flavours, & they're all a delight every time! Their rose sorbet is one of my favourite summer snacks as well. Everything I try here is delicious & not super sweet. I have a very low tolerance for sweetness, but most of their flavours are so nicely balanced that it works perfectly for me. Lastly, their staff is super friendly & kind. A lovely pastry with a crisp exterior & moist center filled with varying flavour of excellent, luscious cream that is just the right amount of sweet : not too much, but still satisfying. A perfect cream to pastry ratio.
Very nice friendly, helpful & patient service (we had them cut every puff in half 😅)
