Al Quds delivered an absolute masterclass with their 1Kg Mix platter!
Every bite of meat is grilled to perfection - juicy chicken taouk, rich & savory kafta, & tender filet mignon with a deep, smoky char. Sitting on a bed of fluffy seasoned rice with warm, spicy pita, it's a meat lover's dream.
The sides elevate the meal completely: smooth, authentic hummus, potent garlic sauce that packs a punch, crisp salad, & sweet grilled vegetables to round it out.
Generous, incredibly flavorful, & executed flawlessly-this platter is hands down one of the best Middle Eastern feasts in town!
This is our favorite restaurant, & we come here almost every weekend it's become our regular spot. The filet mignon is absolutely my favorite & never disappoints. The food is always delicious, which is why we keep coming back.
The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the customer service. There are two women who work here, & every time we visit, they seem upset or unfriendly. I've honestly never seen them smile or make customers feel welcome. A warm attitude would make the dining experience so much better.
Other than that, I highly recommend this place for the amazing food!
Used to love this place but now I feel like the service went down. Last I order a kilo of chicken & filet mignon each of them were missing at least 2 skewers & no salad & sauces were given. Food still tastes amazing. I hope they get better.
This place is not what it used to be. Recently we went to get some filet mignon sandwiches & they were not the same. There was less meat, less flavor. I don't know what they changed so I called & they told me they'd give us two free ones. Meanwhile, my son went back there with a colleague of work & had the same bad experience where there was less meat. Less flavor completely changed the recipe. I had an amazing review on here before. I'm changing it now because of these two events. They've obviously changed our recipes or started cutting down as most restaurants do when they start doing well. So I don't suggest this place anymore. I say go somewhere else. Try something new or go to amir or to boustan but this place is not what it was even if they give you free stuff. The point is that when you go get it randomly their products are not the same. This happens frequently in places when they start making a lot of money they want to make more & more to start cutting back & taking out & changing things. This is the result. We went there twice a day. Completely different filet mignon Sandwich & it's not for the best so we're not going there anymore. I used to drive half an hour & refer people all the time. They're going to say I don't know what happened we used to do so good....
I go there all the time, one of the best lowkey spots in all over MTL. Their filet mignon is a must😍
Holy shit. Best meat in town took 2 filet mignon wrap feel in love again
Update: We ended up going there half a dozen times in the last couple of months, & even though the food remained delicious, portions gradually shrunk, the dining room degraded & ended up needing a deep clean, & the service got extensively slow. I still recommend Al Qods Grill, but their popularity affected a bit the experience.
Just tried the filet mignon sandwich & the kafta platter from Al Quds Grill - absolutely amazing! The meats were perfectly cooked & full of flavor, & the side dishes were just as delicious. The portions were huge, & the variety on the menu made it hard to choose (in the best way!). The service was super friendly too. Highly recommend, we'll definitely be coming back!
I came here after watching their Facebook ads. Having lived in Toronto I was expecting a Ghadir like experience (Google it) but I was one of the only customers. I didn't have the platters but opted for a pita with filet mignon wrap. Hummus, lettuce, turnip. It was okay but nothing i will crave again. The fries were frozen steak cut that were seasoned. Very dry. No extra garlic or anything with the Fries. The dining room was freezing, literally felt like a fridge. Giving 3 stars since I didn't try the platters, & maybe I would have enjoyed it more than the pita sandwich.
The food was very tasty, but the filet mignon was overcooked. I wisk they would have asked me how I wanted it done. Note to self for next time.
