Cette expérience en grilladerie est incomparable… Le restaurant Rib’n Reef, qui peut se vanter de la gloire de ses 50 fructueuses années d’existence, apporte maintenant la touche de modernisme et de flamboiement de la véritable restauration de grand luxe.
Dès son arrivée, on a droit au service de voiturier puis, à l’intérieur, au service courtois et attentionné aux quatre coins de sa table. Le menu diversifié met à l’honneur le bœuf nourri au grain, bœuf de première qualité approuvé USDA, vieilli et fraîchement coupé chaque jour, un appétissant assortiment de poissons frais, de fruits de mer et de homard, tous apprêtés à la perfection.
Dans l'ensemble, Rib 'N Reef est perçu comme un steakhouse haut de gamme avec une ambiance chaleureuse et élégante et un salon de cigares dédié, où les steaks sont souvent loués pour leur cuisson parfaite et les fruits de mer, accompagnements et présentations sur table ajoutent à l'expérience, tandis qu'un service attentif et un programme de vins solide sont régulièrement soulignés; toutefois, plusieurs avis soulignent des prix élevés, des incohérences occasionnelles dans la cuisson ou le service, une salle bruyante ou bondée et des problèmes éventuels liés au rapport qualité-prix ou au service de voiturier.
The experience at this restaurant was impeccable. Sami was phenomenal from start to finish. He went above & beyond to ensure that we had 5 star service. We cannot say enough kind things about him. The food was top notch. We ordered the tuna tar tar, ribeye, & prime rib beef. We highly recommend coming here, the food is 100% worth the price, as well as the service.
After 3 months PK still not respond to my disaster evening, is this the' excellent service the corner stone of your success,' you boost?
I go to RibnReef for the best, not care of $, unfortunately, that night was …steak unevenly cut, resulted unevenly grilled, with waiter needed to be reminded I ordered a Coke, not received coffee ordered, having dessert & my' hot' towel cold, the waiter barely acknowledged our table! :(

The valet removes a good star right from the get go . Takes my car floors it down the sidewalk spins the tires & scrapes the bottom . I mentioned it nicely the other guy. He did the trick where you act like you don't understand untill I repeated 4 times . Tell your friend not to floor my car & spin the tires , it's not very respectful. They also didn't lock my friend's car . Which is annoying.
Food was good . I just feel like I cant tell you that the meat is better than gibbies, maybe , I'd say less tender even . & over there you do get sides & are even less cheap on the table complementary Pickel & coleslaw, bread etc... . But good nonetheless , I knew I was gonna get a salty bill , & that's ok.
Although the forced 20% tip straight up criminal , not a fan at all.
Service was just ok. Speciallly at the beginning since it took 25 mins to get our drinks .
Oh & getting back the car. The valet who acted like he didn't understand why I was annoyed with his friend flooring my car , stayed & did the , I'm waiting for a tip gesture for like 3 mins . Which I still did tip , not sure why . Especially since , why the hell was shifter super grocely wet when I came in .
Anyway I've been to queue cheval back In the days , Moishes , & felt like I was paying for a good luxurious experience. Not the case here.
I feel like if you read this. You'll see my 3* are generous. & make a lot of sense. But everyone is entitled to their opinion.
This is the first time I've decided to write a review about this restaurant. We don't come here often, but over the past 25 years we've visited multiple times. The service & the quality of the food have remained consistently high throughout the years.
Our waiter was highly professional, very reserved, &, deservedly, a bit arrogant 😁 His face clearly showed a mix of impatience & condescension toward a very curious (& slightly demanding) guest who kept asking for things☺
The steak, the octopus, & everything else were delicious. However, one question still lingers in the air…
The Caesar salad I ordered as an appetizer was prepared right in front of me in a large bowl, with all the ingredients mixed together.....it was quite mesmerizing to watch. If not for one detail: our waiter brought everything over, set it up, & proceeded to mix the salad with his bare hands...no gloves. After that, he plated it & carried everything back, at the same time picking up dirty dishes from nearby tables😁🥳🤦?♀?
Filet mignon came medium well instead of medium rare. Bread was not really fresh. Monte Carlo potato was just warm enough to melt the whipped room temp butter. Salmon tartare was ok. Prime rib meat was not marbled so not really tender. Service was very good.

Je me permets d'appuyer plusieurs commentaires déjà publiés ici, qui ont souligné des problèmes de service & d'attitude.
Deux ans plus tard, malheureusement, rien ne semble avoir changé.
Nous avons payé 420 $ pour deux personnes : deux assiettes, une bière & une bouteille de vin à 80 $ (qui se vend 26 $ à la SAQ). La majoration, je peux la comprendre dans un restaurant - mais ce qui est plus difficile à accepter, c'est l'attitude. Le serveur nous a clairement fait sentir « cheap » pour notre choix de vin. On ressent rapidement que certaines tables - les'grosses têtes' habituées - reçoivent une attention toute particulière, alors que d'autres semblent déranger.
Oui, le steak était excellent. Probablement l'un des meilleurs que j'ai mangés. Mais à ce prix, sans accompagnements inclus & avec tout facturé à la carte, l'expérience globale devrait être irréprochable. Or, ce n'était pas le cas.
L'ambiance m'a semblé superficielle & froide. Je ne me suis jamais sentie aussi mal à l'aise dans un restaurant de ce standing. À près de 500 $, on ne devrait pas avoir l'impression de ne pas être'assez bon client'.
Pour ma part, ce sera une première & une dernière visite.
