About

786 Restaurant Halal specializes in the vibrant and robust flavors of traditional Indian and Pakistani cuisine. The menu features an extensive array of spice-forward dishes including slow-cooked meat curries, aromatic biryani preparations, and charcoal-grilled tandoori specialties. Freshly baked naan bread provides a perfect accompaniment to the rich, herb-infused gravies that define the house culinary identity. All proteins are sourced and prepared in strict adherence to halal guidelines to ensure full compliance with dietary standards. Guests encounter a straightforward dining environment focused entirely on the authenticity and intensity of South Asian seasoning profiles. This establishment prioritizes the delivery of complex, heat-driven flavor combinations crafted from traditional spice blends and foundational cooking techniques utilized throughout the Indian subcontinent to maintain consistent quality across every prepared plate.

Review Summary

786 Restaurant Halal receives polarized feedback, with many patrons praising its authentic Pakistani dishes, such as the biryani, butter chicken, and lahori chargha, while highlighting the welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. Many guests appreciate the generous portions and consistent quality, frequently returning for family meals and special occasions. However, some diners report inconsistent experiences, citing concerns regarding declining food quality, portion sizes, higher prices, and occasional issues with kitchen attentiveness or cleanliness. While some find the service exceptional, others have encountered frustrations regarding order accuracy and the handling of customer complaints. Overall, the establishment remains a popular destination for those seeking traditional flavors, though some visitors suggest more rigorous attention to detail is needed to maintain its reputation.

My husband & our 3 other couple friends dined out last Sunday. It was the perfect place. We were all seated together, there were high chairs for our toddlers. The food was delicious & the service was great.

786 staff were friendly, service & greeting was on point. unfortunately the food was not. Butter chicken was not butter chicken.
Lamb Karai was not Karai. The only thing that we may have enjoined was the Chargha chicken & then the karak chai. Kheer also was not up to par. Shame.
