I honestly don't understand some of the negative reviews about the service. My experience was completely different. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, polite, & attentive. Our waitress was friendly professional, & made sure everything was going well throughout the meal without being intrusive.

The service was quick, organized, & the whole team seemed to genuinely care about the customers. Of course, every experience can be different, but based on my visit, I really can't agree with the comments saying the service is bad.

We ordered a chicken seekh kebab, & chicken tikkah BBQ, the fried rice is so tasty!! Everything was perfect & delicious!!

I had a very pleasant experience & would definitely come back again. Sometimes it's better to experience a place for yourself rather than judge it only by the reviews.

Absolutely amazing experience at 786 Halal Restaurant! The food was genuinely incredible - I had the butter chicken & it was easily one of the best I've had. It was so flavourful, rich & creamy, & everything tasted fresh & perfectly cooked. The portions were great too & the food came out looking & tasting amazing.

What made the experience even better was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming & attentive from the moment we arrived. The service was excellent throughout & they really made us feel looked after, which makes such a difference when dining out.

The atmosphere was also lovely - warm, comfortable & welcoming, with a really nice family-friendly feel. Everything was clean & well presented, & it was the kind of place where you can actually relax & enjoy your meal.

Overall, such a great halal restaurant in Montreal with delicious food, amazing service & a lovely atmosphere. I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for good halal food in the city. I'll definitely be coming back whenever I'm in Montreal again!

For my birthday celebration, we went to Restaurant 786 because my wife wanted to surprise me there. She had called the restaurant a day earlier & asked if we could bring our own birthday cake & whether the staff could present it to the table as a surprise. They agreed & said there was no problem.

Our 7-year-old son was also involved in the surprise with his mother & was very excited. After we finished our meal, my wife asked them to bring the cake. However, they brought it very late & had not kept it in the refrigerator at all. The cake had started to melt & our candles were also broken. They simply lit the candles & placed the cake on the table without saying'Happy Birthday,' without any congratulations, & without any effort to create a festive atmosphere.

My son became very upset & disappointed. He said,'Mom & Dad, what bad customer service! They didn't even say a word, no congratulations, no happy birthday.'

Hearing this from a 7-year-old child truly broke my heart. This experience was very disappointing for us, & what was supposed to be one of the most memorable moments of my life was handled in a completely careless & unimportant way. I was really upset with the attitude & service of the restaurant & expected much better, especially since they had already agreed to cooperate with us for this surprise.

However, to be completely honest, the food at the restaurant was really excellent & very delicious. The only reason for our disappointment was the staff's behavior & their very poor service during the birthday celebration.

I visited this restaurant with my friends for dinner, & we had a really nice experience. The food came out fresh, full of flavor, & every dish we ordered was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal, & the portions were generous.
The staff were very polite, attentive, & made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Even though the restaurant was busy, the service was quick, & also they checked on us throughout the meal to make sure everything was perfect.
The restaurant itself was clean, comfortable, & had a great atmosphere. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, & I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for tasty food & excellent service. Looking forward to coming back again.
