786 HALAL RESTAURANT an ultimate Pakistani restaurant best for family and friends get together, parties & celebrations, business lunches, conferences, marketing & promotional launches, press conferences and many more.
786 Restaurant Halal receives mixed feedback but is frequently praised for warm hospitality, friendly service, and what many call the best naan in Montreal along with flavorful, fresh dishes and generous portions. Standout items mentioned include chicken biryani, lamb karahi, lahori chargha, haleem, and fried fish, with garlic naan and raita commonly noted as good accompaniments. The atmosphere is described as nice and suitable for families, with seating for toddlers and a prayer area that many find convenient. On the downside, several reviews point to inconsistency and occasional missteps in kitchen or service, such as butter chicken not meeting expectations, karahi not tasting right, kebabs that are undercooked, and charges for mango lassi that are not promptly resolved. Prices have risen a bit over time, and some visits experience longer wait times. Overall the restaurant is regarded as one of the better halal Pakistani options in the city for flavorful food and a welcoming staff, though experiences vary and some dishes can be hit or miss.
I like the curries. One item was really good, forgot the name. Butter chicken was okay but not like other Indian restaurants. The chicken biryani they served was not cooked properly. Rice was half cooked & little hard. I told the waiter while paying she said it's always cooked like this,I felt like I never had (ate) biryani 😀😀😀). She didn't even apologize.
Before returning to Toronto me & my wife went back to this restaurant second time three years later to try their fish which was delicious.
Yummy food was served by friendly staff in a timely manner. We ate fish, palak paneer, seekh kababs, boneless tikka with naan &
fried rice. Salad & raita was included. We also ordered Chicken biryani for takeout.
Every dish was of the highest quality & not a single one was oily like several other places I've been to. Mango lassi is highly recommended to start off. Who could leave without dessert..I ate warm & fresh Gulab jamans. Souf (Fennel seeds) was available free of cost for customers to digest the meal.
Awesome.testy . Halim &nihari &biryani are unique. Great service. Chef wahid malik is best. As well my family love the unique 786 restaurant.ohh ya in last we had was fry fish . Different than elsewhere
By Montreal standards for Indian food this is good. If you're used to Indian food in Scotland or England you might be disappointed. The restaurant is very clean & the service is rapid & polite. Professional. I have enjoyed the chicken tikka masala & the plain naan. The Aubergine dish is also excellent. The Hyderabad Chicken Biryani is on special each Thursday (2 for 1) & I've ordered it as a takeout.
Halal Indian & Pakistani restaurant Fast & friendly service. Spacious for large group of people. We had biryani rice & butter chicken; very delicious. The fresh naan is perfect with the dish.

Ronduit het beste Pakistaanse restaurant waar ik heb gegeten. Ik hen de kip karachi besteld met biryani, okra en de naan. De naan was hemels. En de kip was zo goed gemarineerd en mals. Alles vers en snelle bediening. Top, top, top.
Thursday biryani takeout, best deal in the town. Also, they have different deals each day of the week except weekends. Very friendly staff & they serve warm food with love!

They have the best chicken biryani in the world 😍 I tried different restaurants but their biryani is special . I live in ottawa & sometimes i travel to montreal just to eat there . I am addicted !
