Highly recommend to visitors looking to get out of the main tourist strip in old Montreal. I had the best oysters of my life. Also wonderful cheeses, local produce, & desserts - don't miss out on the maple pie from the bakery right at the front!

Why buy local when you can get foreign goods at 40% cheaper anywhere else.

I visited in the summer on a hot day. The produce was local & fresh. Garden outdoor & indoor flowers & herbs available. Good lace to go if you need something ready to eat.

Downside is that it is overpriced. Never certain if the sellers are giving it a fair deal or try to jump the prices.

Overall a great experience.

As a tourist, this place didn't do it for me. I'm sure it's a great spot for locals to shop, but being from Vancouver I couldn't help comparing it to Granville Island. Or Seattle's Pike Place. Comparatively little to see/do unless you are buying groceries.

I visited for the first time & it was a great experience. One of the best markets in Montreal. Huge variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, cheeses, meats, & local products all in one place. You can walk around, try different foods, & really enjoy the experience. Prices are fair for the quality, & everything feels fresh.

Another great point is the convenience of parking. There is indoor parking available, which is very helpful, & also plenty of outdoor parking options nearby.

I also want to mention the security staff near the parking ticket payment area-extremely professional & helpful. He had a great attitude & assisted people clearly with the payment process, which made everything smoother.

Definitely a must-visit if you're in Montreal.
