About

3 Brasseurs operates as a prominent microbrewery establishment specializing in traditional Alsatian-inspired pub fare and handcrafted beers brewed directly on the premises. The menu features signature items such as hearty flammekueche, diverse salads, and substantial burgers designed to complement the house-made ales. This industrial-style venue emphasizes a communal atmosphere where copper fermentation tanks define the visual aesthetic of the dining floor. Patrons encounter a consistent selection of seasonal brews alongside standardized comfort food staples crafted to satisfy substantial appetites. The kitchen prioritizes reliable recipes including schnitzels and poutine variations that bridge the gap between French heritage and modern pub expectations. Every dish integrates quality ingredients to provide a functional and direct culinary experience focused on the marriage of beer culture with robust, savory plates suited for casual group gatherings.

Review Summary

3 Brasseurs is frequently praised for its vibrant atmosphere, excellent selection of in-house beers, and friendly, professional service, making it a popular spot for social gatherings or pre-theater meals in Montreal. While many customers enjoy the generous portions and tasty pub-style menu, some reviews note inconsistencies regarding food quality, small portion sizes for certain dishes, and high noise levels. Although wait times can be longer during peak hours and some experiences with table placement or staff availability have been disappointing for a few, the majority of visitors highlight the welcoming staff and consistent value, recommending it as a reliable destination for a lively evening.

Nous sommes allés là pour ma fête & nous avons été super bien accueilli. La serveuse Elyse était vraiment sympathique & aimable. L'ambience, la bière & la nourriture était bonne aussi, j'y retournerai!

Excellent all around! Fantastic team of servers, & the hostess helped us store our luggage in a small closed room right off the dining room. Great prices, & generous dishes.

Overall excellent. Service is a little slow, but it's a busy place so I can't fault that too much.
The beer is excellent. My friends & I got a variety of their in house beer, & all of it was incredible. The Sugar Shack pint is to die for, & very reasonably priced. Great happy hour too.
Food was normal for a brewpub place, a little pricey but good. The pulled pork sandwich was great value though.
My only complaint is that the poutine you can swap your fries for is abysmal. Definitely not worth the +4$.
