Premier Microbrewery offering premium craft brewed beers, generous and hearty meals and focused on providing the safest dining experience possible. Daily features available in store and also for take out.
Overview of 3 Brasseurs reviews shows a lively, casual brewpub with a broad beer selection and menu that many diners find comforting and tasty, though results vary by dish. The atmosphere is described as warm and buzzy, with some locations offering an on site brewing vibe and others feeling more like a standard pub. Service is frequently praised for friendliness and efficiency, especially during quieter times, but busy visits can bring slower service and longer waits for food. Most guests appreciate generous portions and reasonable prices, yet a number of meals are noted as only okay or not particularly delicious, and a few items are criticized for being bland, cold, or underwhelming. Overall, 3 Brasseurs appears to be a reliable, sociable option for a casual night out with friends or family, delivering solid beer, decent value, and a welcoming vibe despite occasional inconsistency.
I was there yesterday, Wednesday. I've been there once before to eat & have a drink. I can't say I really like the place, but I have to say the beer this time was better than last time.
I was there probably not at the best time, service wise, since it looked like they didn't have enough staff. I was there around 3pm. It looked like the guy greeting everyone was also doing his best to serve the tables when needed. He's was good, but the rest of the staff looked like they couldn't care less. No attention when empty beer glasses where right in their faces. Service always had to be requested. It was never offered except for the guy at the door. I could see when it was time to leave for me that it was getting more busy & more more staff was on site.
Ordered the French onion soup which was not good & way to salty. I've eaten there before & the food is not really good.
Looks like the place needs some better management since the attention to the customer was lacking.

Great experience at 3 Brasseurs Saint-Denis! The atmosphere is friendly & perfect for a good time with friends. The house beers are excellent with plenty of options, & the food is tasty & generous. Service is fast & friendly, even when it's busy. A great spot to relax & enjoy a nice evening in Montreal!
A delightful spot for what we were looking for: lunch (we wanted to order a few small things & a couple of beers), warm atmosphere (a brewery never fails, especially during cold, wintery days), & friendly, accommodating staff (the young woman & man that took care of us were super friendly).
Went here for St.Pats & had a wonderful experience. The server Emmanuelle was amazing, she was kind & check in with us consistently. The beer here is amazing & you can watch the brewing process as you drink. Overall 10/10 highly recommend coming here.
Overall excellent. Service is a little slow, but it's a busy place so I can't fault that too much.
The beer is excellent. My friends & I got a variety of their in house beer, & all of it was incredible. The Sugar Shack pint is to die for, & very reasonably priced. Great happy hour too.
Food was normal for a brewpub place, a little pricey but good. The pulled pork sandwich was great value though.
My only complaint is that the poutine you can swap your fries for is abysmal. Definitely not worth the +4$.
Nice food & friendly service. We stayed at Hyatt hotel. Tuesday evening Walked here for dinner. Surprised find this 3 story restaurant. No reservations but they allowed us sitting at bar. Ordered Munich queen- beer, tuna tartare as starters, Royale sauerkraut for share. Highly recommend!
The food was pretty decent, & the beer was good but it took 15 minutes for a server & then another 20 to get our drinks which she seemed to forget to punch in. After this the food did come quick but the 45 minutes to have her come back to clear plates at which we asked for the bill as we didn't want to wait any longer!
Went there before a standup comedy show & it was very crowded. Had to wait more than twenty minutes to get seated, & another fifteen to have a waiter greets us. Beer place, the beer was good. Fried pickles, mozzarella sticks as they were out of halloumi fries for appetizers, Maya hot dog was good, fish n' chips was okay, & the pork shank which I have to say was very good but a little dry. All in all, good place but don't go there if you're in a rush.
I have been to 3 Brasseurs many times in Montreal. On Saint John Baptiste Day, I visited this branch with my best friend. The restaurant was quite full, & although the second floor had some empty tables, the waitress said we couldn't be seated there, so we were placed near the entrance, which was very inconvenient as people kept bumping into our table.
My friend ordered the feta pizza & was happy with it & the four-flavour beer sampler. I had a regular burger with sweet potato fries (extra charge), but the burger was bland, & the fries were not very tasty. I also ordered the four beers.
The waiter was kind but not very attentive. Despite being unhappy with the food & our table, I still left a 15% tip.
I understand that on busy days these places get crowded & it's more challenging, but in the customer service industry, we expect good food & service for what we pay.
I love this restaurant, but my experience at this branch was not very pleasant.
Great food, service, & a good selection of wine. They do specialize in beers, but I prefer wine. So I ordered their specialty, the Flamm Classic. It tasted the same as the last time I was there 20 years ago. The outdoor patio is very nice & clean, & they brought a bowl of water without asking for it. Good price too!
Good food. The beer was not to my liking. The layout is really odd & I had a amall table in a cramped balcony type area that had barely enough space for the waiter to squeeze past. Industrial style ceiling makes it loud. The staff was friendly & the service was good.
