3 Brasseurs operates as a prominent microbrewery establishment specializing in traditional Alsatian-inspired pub fare and handcrafted beers brewed directly on the premises. The menu features signature items such as hearty flammekueche, diverse salads, and substantial burgers designed to complement the house-made ales. This industrial-style venue emphasizes a communal atmosphere where copper fermentation tanks define the visual aesthetic of the dining floor. Patrons encounter a consistent selection of seasonal brews alongside standardized comfort food staples crafted to satisfy substantial appetites. The kitchen prioritizes reliable recipes including schnitzels and poutine variations that bridge the gap between French heritage and modern pub expectations. Every dish integrates quality ingredients to provide a functional and direct culinary experience focused on the marriage of beer culture with robust, savory plates suited for casual group gatherings.
3 Brasseurs is widely appreciated for its excellent selection of craft beers and inviting, casual atmosphere, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. Many guests highlight the high quality of service, frequently noting the professionalism, warmth, and efficiency of the staff. The restaurant offers a variety of menu items that satisfy many diners, and the outdoor terraces are often described as perfect spots to enjoy a meal. While experiences can vary based on peak hours, the general consensus points to a friendly environment and a memorable dining experience, with many patrons expressing a strong desire to return.
Jesse was our server & he was absolutely fabulous. Great casual atmosphere. There is the option of outdoor seating, we sat inside. Standard menu items - typical burgers, sandwiches, a few salads, poutine - the beer was great.
June 2026: lobster pastries were delicious. The sangria was overly sweet though
2025: friendly efficient service, definitely enjoyed having the music videos playing on the big screen on a Friday night, burger sliders were delicious. Enjoyed the B52 coffee. The blackberry bramble was waaaay too sweet though.
2018: Good food & cocktails
Great spot for catching a show nearby, with friendly service & a welcoming atmosphere. That said, the evening I visited was unusually slow-our food took over an hour to arrive. To their credit, the staff was apologetic about the delay, & once the dishes came, the quality made up for it. I especially enjoyed the'Burger Week' special. The restaurant is set in a charming, bustling part of the city, which adds to the overall experience.
4 of us went to have supper last night after visiting the Dracula Hotel venue, food was just ok, nothing great. Our friends ordered the thin crust pizza, it was horrible, thinest crust pizza I have ever seen, hardly nothing on the pizza, I had the pulled pork burger which was not bad. Overall, food was mediocre & service was just ok.
I have been to 3 Brasseurs many times in Montreal. On Saint John Baptiste Day, I visited this branch with my best friend. The restaurant was quite full, & although the second floor had some empty tables, the waitress said we couldn't be seated there, so we were placed near the entrance, which was very inconvenient as people kept bumping into our table.
My friend ordered the feta pizza & was happy with it & the four-flavour beer sampler. I had a regular burger with sweet potato fries (extra charge), but the burger was bland, & the fries were not very tasty. I also ordered the four beers.
The waiter was kind but not very attentive. Despite being unhappy with the food & our table, I still left a 15% tip.
I understand that on busy days these places get crowded & it's more challenging, but in the customer service industry, we expect good food & service for what we pay.
I love this restaurant, but my experience at this branch was not very pleasant.
