I really loved the matcha desserts at Matcha Zanmai! Every treat I tried (I ordered six!) was full of rich, authentic matcha flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. The desserts looked beautiful and tasted fresh soft and light without being too heavy or overly sweet. Even though I ordered quite a bit, the service was surprisingly quick, which I really appreciated. The staff seemed to know their stuff and handled the busy vibe well. They were polite, though it was a bit hectic in there. One thing to keep in mind is that seating is pretty limited, so it can get crowded during busy times. If you want a quieter experience, try to go during off-peak hours. Overall, if you're a matcha fan like me, Matcha Zanmai is definitely worth a visit. Great desserts, good service, and a cozy little spot. I'll be back for sure!View more

La cuisine est ordinaire et le prix des tapas exorbitant : 19$ le paneer tikka composé essentiellement de poivrons et de 3 morceaux de fromage, 16$ le aloo tikki composé de 2 morceaux de pommes de terres accommodés d'une sauce…au vu du prix cela manque sérieusement de générosité. Les plats étaient juste corrects, l'agneau plutôt sec et le poulet korma n'avait rien d'exceptionnel. Le vin un rosé de Provence domaine de Valetanne servi pas assez frais pour la modique somme de 68$. Pour finir, un pourboire mini à 18% est imposé là où partout ailleurs à Montréal le mini est à 15%. Bref pas convaincu du tout de l'expérience, un lieu surfait qui vit sur ses acquis et son succès d'autrefois.View more

I tried the $10 college menu at 3 Brasseurs and ordered the quesadilla. The portion wasn't very generous, but it was well enough for an average eater. The quesadilla was tasty and cooked well. The place seemed understaffed, so the service was slow. The staff didn't seem very friendly at first and looked overwhelmed. It was only toward the end, when the server noticed my timer, that she became a bit nicer. Overall, the food was REALLY GOOD for the price, but the service definitely needs improvement.
