Often saved for special occasions, Quebec ice cider deserves to be enjoyed more often. Made from naturally frozen apples, it offers a unique balance of freshness, richness, and complexity.
It can be enjoyed at brunch or as an aperitif in creative cocktails like an Ice Mule or a Nordic Cosmo, as well as paired with foie gras, aged cheeses, or lightly spiced dishes. It also complements fruity desserts beautifully or can be sipped on its own as a digestif.
Several IGP-certified ice ciders are available at the SAQ, including those from Domaine Lafrance, Domaine Pinnacle, and Neige, while some local cideries offer their products directly on site.
