Review Summary

Bous is widely regarded as a standout destination in Montreal, offering an elevated and modern approach to authentic Persian cuisine. Guests frequently praise the restaurant for its high quality ingredients, flavorful charcoal grilled kebabs, and thoughtfully crafted dishes like the fesenjoon and tahchin. The atmosphere is consistently described as elegant, chic, and warm, providing a sophisticated backdrop that honors Iranian culture without feeling stereotypical. While most visitors find the service professional and the experience memorable, some note that the fine dining portion sizes and pricing may not align with expectations for those accustomed to traditional, larger-format Persian meals. Overall, the restaurant is celebrated as a beautiful gem perfect for special occasions, date nights, or introducing friends to high-end Persian hospitality.View restaurant profile

BOUS is introducing a new cocktail and mocktail menu created by renowned Montréal mixologist Tao Zrafi. Inspired by Persian and Mediterranean flavours, the drinks combine traditional ingredients with modern techniques for a unique tasting experience.

Highlights include the Saffron Silk, a clarified milk punch made with saffron, naranj concentrate, sumac vinegar and black tea, available with or without smoky mezcal, and the signature Roobousi, featuring mango, pear, bergamot, cardamom and toasted sesame. Summer favourites also include the vibrant Barberry Bloom and the alcohol-free Golden Rose, a refreshing sharbat infused with saffron, rose water and basil seeds.

BOUS is also open for lunch Tuesday through Friday from 11:30am to 2:30pm, offering a table d'hôte menu and à la carte favourites, making it an ideal destination for business lunches.

Guests can also enjoy the restaurant's newly opened terrace throughout the summer.
