Food was excellent. Service was great however the attitude of the hostess not the greatest. There were only a few tables occupied when we arrived. When we ask to change table she told us no then proceeded to tell us the seating policy was 2 hours. Exactly 2 hours later we were ask to leave even if the restaurant was not full & there were no line up to get in. This is very unfortunate as the food is very good. Consider this restriction when making a reservation.

The culinary highlight of our 4 days on Mtl. We had the tasting for 2. $45 each, six dishes, plus a few extras, then a nice matcha cake & a few creative cocktails. All well prepared & presented. Friendly & on-point service. Lively atmosphere. The izakaya may be the next big trend. It'll be on our must visit list for subsequent trips to Mtl.

Not a big fan of their ramen with watery chicken broth, sorry. A lot of other items on the menu are very delicious though. It makes me feel inspired when I sit outside & stare at the sumo wrestler on the wall as I eat everything else on the menu. It's nice to eat a lot & become huge to easily walk through crowds.

Delicious Japanese food with a great ambience for work or pleasure & outstanding service. Prices are a little steep for the amount of food in each dish.
