Overall it was ok. Service was a bit lacking & would be nice to see the servers smile once in awhile. Sushi was ok but lacked in flavor compared to previous times. Surprised they charged for the small piece of cake they brought for my dad's birthday. First time Ive seen a restaurant charge for the dessert for the birthday person. Nice thing was it wasn't rushed & we could take our time.
For an upscale restaurant I expect the take out food to be put in containers in the back by the waiter & not just hand out take out containers to whoever wants one. Also there was a cold vent right above our table that went on & off & when it was on I had to put my jacket on. My mom told them about it but nothing was done. Will try another restaurant next time.View more
Unfortunately we waited over an hour for our food. The waiter did not come see us once from when he gave us water/took our order to when we got our food an hour later. It also took multiple attempts to flag him down to ask if there was an update. There were plates of food sitting at the bar waiting to go out for 15+ minutes. It's really too bad. The hostess did apologize, but it was only after we said something.
The food was very good, it was what bumped the rating up. It's not the best sushi we've had but it was good, it tasted fresh. We were very satisfied with the food.
For the price of the food, we expect to be blown away & better service.View more

Fantastic sushi with fresh, flavorful ingredients & a menu that offers a great variety of options for every palate. The quality of the food definitely stands out, & it's clear that care is put into each dish. The only drawback is the layout of the dining space - the tables are placed quite close together, which can make the dining experience feel a bit cramped, especially during busy hours. That said, the excellent sushi & friendly atmosphere still make it a spot worth visiting if you're craving top-quality sushi.View more

I went for dinner during the week with a friend. Food was outstanding, some of the best sushi I've ever had. The service was poor, our waiter never checked on us & we had to keep tracking down other employees. Eventually, a waiter in a section nearby so kindly kept checking on us, his name is Trung. Overall great experience, but in my opinion all staff should be trained as well as Trung is to have the best experience (he definitely deserves a raise).View more

Ça fait quelques fois que je vais au zento avec des amies. Les sushis sont excellents. La dernière fois, j'ai commandé un pad thaï au boeuf. Lorsque j'ai reçu mon assiette, il y avait une odeur particulière. J'ai goûté, & c'était vraiment pas bon. Ça goûtait le périmé. J'en ai parlé avec notre serveur & il n'a absolument rien fait. Même pas un petit escompte. De retour chez moi, j'ai été tellement malade... Ce sera la dernière fois pour moi.View more

My favourite place for sushi. The presentation & taste of the food is excellent! The service can be slow at times but this time it was perfectly timed & not slow. They need to put some time into fixing the tables. The tops are coming apart & the client next to us spent 5 minutes with folding napkins to level his table.View more

Que dire de cette endroit. Personel très chaleureux & sushi gouteux & très bon. J'ai eu la chamce de me faire inviter ici par une amie. Service rapide & efficace & une salle remplie pour le dinner donc on peut facilement comprendre que c'est LA place pour des vrai bon sushi en ville. Restaurant propre & je recommande fortement. Rendez-vous pour récupérer une commande. 20h15 & on arrive 5 min d'avance. On nous dit que c presque prêt & que on sera servi dans au plus 10 min. Il est présentement 20h58 & on vient de nous annoncer que on est les prochains. Donc toujours pas servi. Franchement pas la ponctualité de sushi perrot.View more

Si nous revenons c'est vraiment en raison de la qualité de la nourriture qui est impeccable...le commentaire n'est pas particulièrement en raison de notre dernière expérience, mais une accumulation de soirée...
Je réitère que le serveur de samedi dernier n'est pas particulièrement visé par les lignes qui suivront, mais une ACCUMULATION des dernières visites!
Ayant travaillé pendant plus de 15 ans dans le domaine, il est pour moi INCONCEVABLE que nous devons attendre 12,15 & parfois 20 minutes avant que quelqu'un viennent nous voir...attendre 15 minutes pour commander une bouteille de vin & attendre plus de 10 minutes pour la recevoir...
La prestance de votre équipe de service devrait être réévaluée: posture, service du vin, chemise etc.
Finalement, un gérant de service devrait en permanence circuler afin de voir les petits correctifs qui pourraient échapper aux serveurs.
Ce commentaire ce veut positif, car bous aimons énormément la nourriture, mais plus les soirées passées au Zento s'accumulent & plus elles se ressemblent! Nous voulons y revenir avec des amis, mais si je devais recommander un restaurant sushis, je préviendrais les gens à qui je recommanderai de s'armer de patience

Dragon eye froid par 2 fois(visites). Vraiment décevant
J'étais à l'ouverture officielle il y a 20 ans. Bouffe inconsistante parfois: tempura mou & vieille huile l'autre fois mais impeccable hier.& les 2 fois attente de 45-75 minutes pour sushis...
Pas de saké Hatsuturu
Bref, la 3em visite sera déterminante. Nous avons toujours adoré Zento mais notre appréciation est mis à l'épreuve depuis 1 an...

Waiter was slow & walked by several times without checking in.
Forgot soy sauce & was chatting with other staff.
Owner should smoke more when she's walking around.

via LibroSushi is often a hit & miss. On Saturday night the place was fully booked, which is always a good sign for quality. Service took a while, but was well worth waiting for. Very friendly motivated service.
