Ce resto me tentait depuis quelque temps car il remplaçait un triste Burger King. Je ne fus pas déçu! Superbe burger : pain moelleux à souhait, une galette goûteuse smashée à la perfection, une sauce différente, & des rondelles d'oignons classiques savoureuses. J'y retourne dès que possible!
Seul bémol : il n'y avait qu'un seul employé. Il faisait tout : l'acceuil, la caisse, le service & la cuisson. Le jeune homme semblait fatigué, quoique courtois. De grâce, trouvez lui un coéquipier!
1er fois que je vais chez Yumi Burger. J'essaie le cheeseburget avec une poutine. Le burger est correct, avec une sauce maison,malheureusement celle-ci manquait de'oumphhh'. Elle passe presque inaperçu dans le burger. La poutine, pour moi était bien. J'ai bien aimé la sauce. Dans l'ensemble, très bon rapport qualité/ prix. Le restaurant est très propre & assez vaste.J'ai.e le fait que l'on voit la cuisine. Décoration simple & efficace.

After a brief discussion, we unanimously agreed that burgers were the optimal choice for our on-the-go lunch. Naturally, the thought of McDonald's was dismissed given its bustling lunchtime crowd. At the same time, opting for a high-end burger establishment seemed impractical as it would undoubtedly consume more time than we could afford.
Thankfully, our daughter came to the rescue with a fantastic recommendation: Yumi Burger, conveniently situated at 1448 Rue Mackay in the heart of Montreal. What made this burger joint particularly intriguing was its specialization in smash burgers. What's more, it was situated in an area that held nostalgic significance for me, as it was near my old stomping grounds around Concordia University. Upon entering the restaurant, I was instantly struck by the youthful ambiance reminiscent of a college crowd. The staff were pleasant, & patient! My daughter had the Yumi with cheese & mine was without! The smash was perfect! Being her first real'smash burger'- she is hooked & her standards are set high! The crispy edge was exactly 💯 what you want! The burgers come standard with lettuce, tomatoes & their own'Yumi' sauce- which we both kept as is! Great choice! Just a tiny kick that pairs well with the fresh lettuce & tomatoes on the freshest bun to soak everything up! The fries were lightly seasoned & crisp!
We sat on the roadside patio- it was shaded by the buildings- & breezy. They offer inside seating as well, however we did not really look into it!
The beef patties were delicious, but their special sauce wasn't really my cup of tea - it tasted a bit too sweet for me. Overall, it's a nice burger place for lunch or dinner.
