Review Summary

Overall, reviews of Yuki Sushi praise fresh, well prepared sushi and high quality fish, especially the salmon and sashimi, as well as friendly staff and enjoyable dining or takeout experiences, while a minority reported delivery mix ups and missing or substituted items and a few dishes received mixed feedback such as poke bowls with little avocado and other items, but most diners say they will return for the sushi.

Very good food. We ordered a combo for four, & it was a good thing my son liked the cooked salmon rolls. The sashimi in particular was excellent.

Ordered off Uber eats - very medium to low end sushi. You can see in the picture how much they shove huge amounts of avacado & cucumber into the roll & barely any fish in there. The tempura & fried roll are excessively crispy - too much coating & over fried so once again, you can't taste any of the fish. The tempura was the same way, with the shrimp in the tempura was mushy. I really wouldn't recommend, much better sushi places in mtl.

I've ordered large chef's selection platters several times & generally the sushi we receive is good. Ingredients seem fresh, platter presentation is nice. A few constructive criticisms: sometimes the use of avocado in some rolls is very big & overpowering. The only roll I haven't liked so much is the Dragon Eye. Compared to other places I get sushi, I find this Dragon Eye is too oily, sometimes burnt. The breading comes off & there is a very greasy taste left on the palate. A bit more finesse on this roll would be appreciated :) Otherwise it's a decent place & they offer 10% off pick-up orders.
