Very tasty food, it's the best Greek spot I've ever eaten at. I took a chicken skewer with potatoes & it was AMAZING, the ice cream was also amazing, you can eat outside or inside, both options are really nice.
Honestly, YiaSou has been one of my favorite restaurants for the last several years. The food is absolutely delicious, my personal favorite being the chicken gyro platter in a pita & the chef's spanakopita. Additionally, the staff have always been great & the atmosphere is very comfortable.
Everyone I've introduced to the restaurant genuinely loves the food & always wants to go back. The most surprising being my family of picky eaters who now suggest going to the restaurant whenever they are in town visiting. It was their first taste of Greek food & it's been a success ever since.
Yia sou's taverna chicken is always my go to when im craving greek food, i order takeout all the time , & it always hits. amazing value for the amount of chicken you get.
The food was delicious! We started with lightly battered zucchini chips, then we shared salads & a mixed grill for 2…for the 3 of us. We got grilled chicken, lamb chops, & giant grilled shrimp…definitely enough for 4.

We had supper there last night & the food was absolutely phenomenal. I highly recommend the lamb chops & the taverna chicken. Faye gave us great service, we will definitely be coming back.
My first time & it was pretty good. My husband told me about this place, he used to come very often he said. So k told myself I'd give it a try. The food was DELICIOUS!! We had the platter mix of lamp chops, shrimps, chicken wings with rice & your choice of potatoes. Coming back for more of those yummy lamb chops
Been here for years & generally the food is consistent. The decor is getting old & dated & needs to be refreshed. Pricing is a little high. Portions are ok but not great. Very good souvlaki, lentil soup, baklava, Greek salad, chicken skewer, their frozen fries are actually decent too, tzatziki very good, teramoslata good, steak & fries decent but not a steak place so.... Lamb stock great. Porc souvlaki great. Poor - calamari. Overly greasy, not very well seasoned, & the oil did not smell good at all & had to return it.
Came here for dinner with friends. Delicious authentic lamb & chicken. It was tremendous. The taramo & Tzatziki were outstanding. The Pita bred was terrific. Finally we had the desserts, they were PERFECT ! I will come back here for sure as soon as possible. They need to highlight the desserts
Been many times. One of the best Greek restaurants in Montreal. Very local & close to where I live. Easy to enjoy their amazing lentil soup. My friend had the grilled chicken which is delicious.

Have eaten on site (the octopus was excellent), but more often have ordered in - at least 15 times. Always order the same but tonight was probably the best chicken gyros ever. Compliments to the staff!
We ordered take out for twelve people from Yia Sou on a recent trip to Montreal. WOW, the food was amazing. You must taste the baked chicken. It is out of this world.
Last week 5 couples arrived at you rest. The Greek music was appreciated & was complimented by friendly professional service. As always your lentil soup was outstanding as was the Greek chicken that most of us ordered. The herbal dressing added to the taste & was worth waiting for. In todays world of much higher prices in most restaurants Yia Sou has managed to keep their increase to a reasonable level.
