i order semi-frequently & when it's good, it's really good. i like the quality of the fish & the nigiri doesn't have too much rice. that being said, i ordered a chirashi one time that seemed like nothing more than scraps, & i ordered tonight & the rice was wildly underseasoned, which is completely unacceptable in my opinion. the hosomaki was also badly made tonight, it was mostly rice, when it usually has a good ratio.
Delicious!!!Everything was delicious! Especially the Unagi don was yummm🤤🤤 Reasonable price & portion! We had the salmo salad, & salmon poke as well as Unagi-don & karaoke & salmon tartare entrée! I just wish they had more options for the cocktails other than whiskey based cocktails.

I was really happy to secure a table four weeks in advance-the online reservation system is excellent & easy to use.
When our party arrived (we had a 12:45 PM reservation on Easter Monday), we were warmly welcomed & promptly seated. The service stood out right away.
Our host/server was professional & attentive; when one member of our group couldn't order a dish as listed, he quickly suggested an alternative accompaniment & kindly apologized. We didn't expect that but my party really appreciated the degree of professionalism & the establishment!
Although the portions were a bit smaller than expected, the food was clearly made fresh to order, & the flavors complemented each other beautifully.
Overall: 10/10 for food, 10/10 for service, & 10/10 for atmosphere.
Honestly, 100/10-I'd happily come back again on a lunch break from the nearby university.
Très belle expérience sur l'heure du dîner. Bonne cuisine ainsi qu'un bon service. La salade de pieuvres au wasabi nori était excellente. Restaurant à découvrir!

Bottom line:
A dependable, well-executed Japanese restaurant with good quality & ambiance-worth it for a casual dinner downtown, even if it's not at the top tier of Montreal's sushi scene.
If you're looking for good poke/sushi downtown then this is a safe bet. Had the tuna tataki, spicy tuna poke bowl & the unagi don & they were all quite good. The ambience & decor are quite nice as well. Good for a date night without having to break the bank.
The freshest fish & seafood sashimi. Best hamachi I have ever had. The salmon tartare on crispy salmon skin was exceptional. The tofu miso soup, shrimp tempura & takoyaki were very good. Friendly & calm service. Warm decor.
I ordered Karrage & some sushi for takeout, the Karrage was completely dry & cold as if they were sitting in their kitchen for days. Got the salmon kawa with tartare, very average as well. Won't be coming back.

fois minha segunda vez no restaurante e tudo transcorreu muito bem, desde o cumprimento do horário da reserva, atendimento, qualidade e sabor da refeiçao, além de preços bem justos. Recomendo muito
I've passed this place so many times without entering. Finally I went with a friend & we fell in love with the place. The service was kind & friendly, the atmosphere unique & cozy, & the food was great & reasonably priced. We'll be returning.
Nous avions réservé à 20h15, l'heure à laquelle nous sommes arrivés. On nous a demandé de commander rapidement…40 minutes après avant qu'on finisse nos plats, des employés passaient déjà la moppe!
Arrivez très tôt pour profiter de votre repas plutôt très bon…
