I've been coming here for 10 years & it never disappoints. Taste wise & price wise .
Where can you get soup or a spring roll , general tap, rice & veggies for 10.95$ these days.
Their chicken wings are delicious , the pad sew is amazing . The portion sizes are incredible . Definitely recommend.
We ate so good the portions are amazing for the price. We even got a soup with dumplings included for the combo plates, I'm still amazed & very impressed. MacDonald prices for 100x better experience come here instead of a fast food place ! I recommend the general Tao's chicken it was super good
The dishes here offer great value for money. I highly recommend their signature Braised Beef Brisket Rice & Sweet & Sour Chicken.
The Braised Beef Brisket Rice comes with large, generous pieces of beef. The brisket is tender & well-infused with flavor, without being overly salty or loaded with monosodium glutamate (MSG) - it tastes just like a home-cooked dish. The Sweet & Sour Chicken is also excellent, & kids love it!
The restaurant's interior is clean & tidy, & the open kitchen allows diners to see the cooking process, which makes you feel secure about your meal. I'll definitely come back again!
I've now ordered twice & the food has been fantastic. I got the general tao & I couldn't finish it there was so much chicken! Good food good value!
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE VEGETARIAN/VEGAN. I wanted to eat the mixed vegetable udon soup that was labelled'vegan,' but when I asked the waitress what broth they used, she told me they use CHICKEN BROTH. I ended up ordering a purely vegetable dish that I believe was not vegetarian because they probably used oyster sauce or fish sauce, something like that. They will put the'vegetarian/vegan' label on things that are not vegetarian.
Lovely people, owners & staff. Very welcome atmosphere with open kitchen. Place is clean. I'm nice you order it does not take too long for dishes to be served at the table. Their shumai (dim sum) was tasty & light, some of the pork was a little too chewy. General Tao chicken. Found it to have too much breading & the sauce was not the typical general Tao sauce I'm accustomed to as it seems to have a strong citrus to it but I am really not sure. I actually can't describe what the flavouring was for that matter. Crispy fried sesame shrimp also has an odd sauce that we were not used to & as such was the weakest dish we ordered. Shrimp were properly cooked & not too much breading & nice & crisp on the outside. Chicken in black bean sauce was very tasty but lacking sufficient veggies & not much of them except tons of onions. Luckily the onions tasted fantastic. Chicken was what appears to be white meat & was juicy. Spring rolls were way too greasy & the oil smelled off. The spring roll itself was lacking any real flavour or for that matter sufficient amount of meaningful ingredients & as such we left them over. Their white rice was cooked perfectly The tofu general Tao was surprisingly good. The tofu was cooked to a gentle crisp & then covered in general Tao sauce - the same from the other dish. Oddly the sauce was not too bad on the tofu dish The real star of the were the peanut butter dumplings. This was perfect toy cooked, delicate outer dough, filling was proportionate to the size of the wrap, & the sauce was fantastic. Tip. If you have leftover sauce pour it over your white rice it's awesome. I could just go there for plates & plates of the dumplings.
great food amazing price big portions fast service general tyo chicken combo with soup tax tip $15.79 400 grams chicken cup of rice vegies & a won tong soup or spring roll
This place used to have the Best General Tao chicken & hot & sour soup. The price has gone up but quality is a bit down.
Very delicious food!Fantastic service! Recommend salty pepper chicken & pork!
Great experience! The food was great!! The lemon chicken we had is hands down the best I've ever tried. We also tried a combo of different dumplings, it was my first time trying any of them, & for the most part, they didn't disappoint. & finally the Shanghai noodles were just perfect, I might be crazy, but it felt like the noodles were handmade, & that just made the dish taste 10x better. & to top it off, the servers were just the sweetest. Will definitely be back!!
Their chicken fried rice is so simple & amazing. I can't get enough of it. The food portion sizes are great & fulfilling. Tofu combo & Thai chicken red curry combo are out favourite.
This has been my Go To budget friendly delicious chinese food at late hours. It's always worth the trouble of finding parking downtown. I can confidently say it's one of my favorites, & food quality has been consistent over the last few years. Try the salt pepper chicken. Try the eggplant dishes. Try everything.
Portions are huge, Singapore noodles were incredibly good (but not very spicy), I thought the BBQ pork was quite dry, & the general tso chicken was okay, probably would be better fresh in the restaurant so it’s crispy instead of delivered!
We ordered & within 10 mins our food was already on our table. The staff are very friendly & the food is amazing. The food is served hot & fresh still steaming from being taken out of the wok.
I highly suggest trying the General Tao Chicken & the Wok Cafe Special Fried Rice.
Every dish is delicious, especially the General Tso's chicken. It's the best in all of Montreal, & they say it's a secret recipe! Excellent customer service. Highly recommend!
