Decided to stop in for a slice while I was strolling down Wellington street in Verdun. I was looking for a sandwich shop or blackstrap bbq but couldn't find either so I decided to go inside Welldun pizza to sample a slice & I am glad I did: The pizza was awesome! Fresh ingredients, chunky pizza sauce & crispy'welldun' dough. I had a slice of the Margherita & a slice of the Sicilian style pepperoni (a corner of course!).
Atmosphere was cool, it reminded me of an old school pizzeria & I loved the counter seating in the back of the restaurant. The Service was very friendly & welcoming. I watched the owner carefully making one delicious pizza after another while talking with some regular customers. Loved the ambiance & will definitely be making a return trip very soon! As I was leaving I saw a beautiful pie coming out of the oven, the carnivore, with heaping servings of various meats. I wanted to sit back down & have another slice but decided to save it for the next time ; ...
It turns out Welldun Pizza is in the same spot as the old Blackstrap BBQ. A second life for a great location! Highly recommended for a quick delicious pizzaVoir plus
The Detroit style pepperoni, incredible!!!! 11/10! Also tried the NY white & a margarita, the tomato sauce is delicious. Service is a little chaotic but it's understandable for the type of traffic this restaurant gets so be patience it's so worth it!Voir plus
Okay no joke we have ordered from welldun every week for the passed 3 weeks with different friend groups & theyre very consistent! We just had their mushroom pizza for the first time & for all the mushroom pizza lovers out there it is a must. They surely do not skimp on the mushroom & it is flavourful. There is a pattern of quality in their ingredients & craft here I must say. One of the best new york pepperoni pizzas I have had in my life. Their pesto grandma style is very delicious! Also my present favorite pesto pizza in montreal. Their detroit pizzas are nice too They know how to make not just good, but great pizza here, all the way down to their crust, dough overall & their tomato sauce is yummy!Voir plus
A fantastic pizzeria, top two for me in the whole city - & I have eaten a lot of pizza! A variety of crusts & toppings, & we haven't put a foot wrong with them yet. My husband ordered the pepperoni & I think it was his favorite ever pepperoni slice, on the Sicilian crust. I've enjoyed just the margherita, always a strong sign for the quality of the ingredients. Eating in is nice, though it can be a bit loud. But we've greatly enjoyed it & we'll be back again soon!Voir plus
Counter self-serve pizza place. We tried 3 slices of pizza. Detroit pepperoni (7$), New York Margherita (5$) & Grandma Margherita (5.75$). Our favorite is New York Margherita. In addition to being the cheapest, we prefer our crust slim. Also, it's a popular item so it was fresh out of the oven. Detroit pizza has a thick crust & grandma pizza is the rectangular one.Voir plus
I've never been this impressed with a Pizzeria in Montreal! Truly a revelation in a sea of mediocrity. The sauce in the pizzas (whether red or vodka) was flavorful, incredible undercarriage on all 4 styles (NYC, Detroit, Sicilian & Grandma style) & the pepperoni is really solid. Incredible, & I have been to Frank Pepe's, Sally's in New Haven, as well as Joes & places on Bleeker street in Manhattan & this is certainly in the convo among best pizzas I have had anywhere. This place never disappoints. With every visit we make it keeps getting better & better. The Detroit style vodka bacon pizza just slaps everytime & is my go-to square. The Sicilian-style pepperoni is a really close 2nd with its crispy pep slices. The dough is so pillowy & addictive. You can definitely see the love they put into this place with the quality of the pizza. I highly recommend it!Voir plus

Hands down the best pizza I've ever had. A unique spot in that they have 4 styles to choose from (NY, Detroit, Sicilian, & Grandma) & all of them done exceptionally well. Most pizza spots usually just stick with one style, or two. My favourites were the Sicilian pepperoni & Detroit vodka sauce with pesto. I would recommend dining-in so you can get the slices freshly re-heated out of the oven.Voir plus
Notre pizzeria préférée étant fermé aujourd'hui, quelqu'un a proposé de commander chez welldun, WOW WOW WOW, quelle délicieuse pizza!!! Peut-être la meilleure pizza que j'ai jamais mangé! nous avons commandé des detroit pizza style la carnivore & la vodka bacon, quel regal!!! La croute est démente! Not sure what to call it but it was a rectangle of pizza. I chose the Sicilian Pepperoni & ordered it to go but warmed up. It took them almost 20 minutes to bring me my "slice". Was it worth the wait? Nope. I'm not sure if it's their sauce or the pepperoni but the pizza is way too salty. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed.Voir plus
My first visit to welldun Pizza. I had the Sicilian pepperoni slice. It was amazing. The dough light, fluffy & crispy. Sauce was nice & tangy, & they put lots of pepperoni, which made a bit too salty but still very good. I will definitely be back to try other slices. I came here on Saturday March 9th around 1pm & was greeted with nice warm smile from the staff over the counter, asked me how my day was & if they could get me anything. Right out the gate I'm very happy! I got a square of the Detroit pepperoni & it was good! I have never had Detroit style before & it was hard to rank it among other slices of pizza because it's not a slice, it's more like a fluffy crispy lasagne. It's hard to judge something I've never had before but if I could critique anything it would be that the tomato sauce was a little bland, maybe it's just me (probably is) but it's something I noticed. I also wasn't ready for the tomato sauce falling off lol Overall I loved it! I see some other reviews on here saying that it's "too expensive" but you gotta realize that in today's economy, stuff overall is expensive. So, to get a square of this for $6/$7 is a DEAL! 10/10 Atmosphere - 9/10 Food & taste - 10/10 ServiceVoir plus

Really good pizza! They have different styles: New York, Detroit, Grand-mère, & Sicilian. We tried the Sicilian-style pepperoni & margherita - the crust & the toppings had excellent flavours & texture. Well done indeed! The staff is very nice & the service is on point. Drove out of our way today from the south shore to try this place out after seeing it on social media. I wasn't expecting much but it was actually really good, the dough was incredible & I know everyone will go for the square slices but the New York style Margherita pizza was actually surprisingly solid. Only a few negatives because nothing is perfect & everything can be improved, 1. The NY Style Margherita pizza was really too light on sauce to the point where it was a little dry. Dough/crust was incredible, flavors were good but just a little dry. If it had a little more sauce to balance it out I would gladly order a whole pie. 2. The Vodka sauce detroit slice had about 50% less burrata on it than what you see on social media - but it was really good nonetheless. 3. The person I was with got the detroit style pepperoni slice & quite a chunk of pepperonis were really burnt to a crisp more than just a crispy edge, nearly half the surface of the entire pepperoni. Not sure if its supposed to be like that We're already planning on coming back it was really good overall.Voir plus
