Every aspect of the pizza: toppings, sauce & dough are amazing here!! The dough is chewy & elastic, with a little bit of tang from the sourdough-style fermentation. I enjoy every style of pizza they serve, just choose based on your mood. If you're indulging, go for the cheesy crust of the Detroit-style & if you want something lighter but still crispy & filling, the New York & Grandma-style are good options. The toppings taste fresh, & they are definitely generous. The sauce is balanced between sweet & tangy & perfectly complements the dough. If dining in, there's a spicy olive oil that I love to smother my pizza with. One slice is quite filling but I always want more! One of my favourite pizza spots in Montreal!View more

I came here on Saturday March 9th around 1pm & was greeted with nice warm smile from the staff over the counter, asked me how my day was & if they could get me anything. Right out the gate I'm very happy! I got a square of the Detroit pepperoni & it was good! I have never had Detroit style before & it was hard to rank it among other slices of pizza because it's not a slice, it's more like a fluffy crispy lasagne. It's hard to judge something I've never had before but if I could critique anything it would be that the tomato sauce was a little bland, maybe it's just me (probably is) but it's something I noticed. I also wasn't ready for the tomato sauce falling off lol Overall I loved it! I see some other reviews on here saying that it's "too expensive" but you gotta realize that in today's economy, stuff overall is expensive. So, to get a square of this for $6/$7 is a DEAL! 10/10 Atmosphere - 9/10 Food & taste - 10/10 ServiceView more

Very delicious pizza! It's cool that they have both New York & thicker styles. The staff is quite nice & accommodating even though they are crazy busy! I do wish they had a few more varieties but when possible they do take custom orders. I would definitely recommend :)View more

The pizza is very delicious - went with a group & everyone enjoyed their half! They had a vegan option which was very nice (marinara style). It did take around 40 minutes to get our pizza but they were very busy so I would call ahead if anything!View more

I love this place - the pizza is incredible. Especially the Detroit style pizza. I've had five or six different types of pizza here & have yet to be disappointed! They're always super nice & welcoming too. My only issue is that almost every time I've been (almost always online orders), I always have to wait an extra 15-20 minutes for my order to be ready. Tonight was a Friday, a peak night, so I get it. But this also happened on an early Saturday afternoon. Pizza is worth it but they need to set better expectations (probably a product of their own success)View more

Really good pizza! They have different styles: New York, Detroit, Grand-mère, & Sicilian. We tried the Sicilian-style pepperoni & margherita - the crust & the toppings had excellent flavours & texture. Well done indeed! The staff is very nice & the service is on point. Drove out of our way today from the south shore to try this place out after seeing it on social media. I wasn't expecting much but it was actually really good, the dough was incredible & I know everyone will go for the square slices but the New York style Margherita pizza was actually surprisingly solid. Only a few negatives because nothing is perfect & everything can be improved, 1. The NY Style Margherita pizza was really too light on sauce to the point where it was a little dry. Dough/crust was incredible, flavors were good but just a little dry. If it had a little more sauce to balance it out I would gladly order a whole pie. 2. The Vodka sauce detroit slice had about 50% less burrata on it than what you see on social media - but it was really good nonetheless. 3. The person I was with got the detroit style pepperoni slice & quite a chunk of pepperonis were really burnt to a crisp more than just a crispy edge, nearly half the surface of the entire pepperoni. Not sure if its supposed to be like that We're already planning on coming back it was really good overall.View more

Yes! A new(ish) restaurant on Wellington that does its own original thing, & not a terrible chain restaurant like KFC! At this point, it's a duty to spread the word about good places like these, so that Verdun isn't taken over by big corporations. Duty aside, this place is really damn good anyway. I was a mix of concerned & curious before their opening about what they could possibly do to stand out in a scene that already isn't lacking in excellent pizza. I have to admit I did not expect Detroit-style pizza, & that I'm very surprised & pleased by that answer to my questioning! & what amazing pizza it is too. A ton of delicious toppings (best bacon I've ever had on pizza by far), fresh sauce that bursts with flavors in generous quantity, & since each pizza is cooked at a size of 6 servings, a dough always fresh enough so that the parts that should be soft aren't dry, & the parts that should be crunchy aren't soggy. Staff is friendly & mindful of the cleanliness of the place. Price are more than reasonable (you can easily get a piece of pizza & a can of soda for around 10$ after taxes). Topping options are varied & creative, & 4 different styles of pizza are usually available (Brooklyn, Detroit, Sicilian & one they call Grand-mère), all delicious. Right by Métro De L'Église, so there really is no reason not to try it if you're in the area & are hungry for a bite. There's no way you'll regret it!View more

Tellement bon! On a prit la pizza style détroit au bacon, une tuerie!!!! C'est certain qu'on recommandera ou même manger sur place vu que c'est seulement à 10min de chez nous. De base nous ne sommes pas fan des pâtes épaisses & bah comme quoi on peut changerez d'avis!!! Ça fait longtemps qu'on passait devant en hésitant à s'y arrêter, je crois qu'on regrette de ne pas l'avoir fait plus tôt !! C'est un peu cher mais franchement compte tenu du goût ça n'a aucune importance, je préfère payer plus cher & garder des commerces de proximité de cette qualité que de voir des chaînes prendre d'assaut les quartiers. Count yourself lucky to live in Montreal where places like this exist. Their pizza is definitely a cut above the rest (pun intended), especially in the area (no offense to other pizza places, but there’s no contest).
4 different styles to choose from - I went with Detroit because it is just so different from what we typically see. I chose the Vodka Bacon, & I’m so glad I did….it blew me away.
I can describe it in detail but, really, what you need to do is just go try it yourself. The perfect combination of textures & flavours. Heaven in every bite.
Will definitely be back soon. I mean I nearly went back after my first bite to get another slice.
Bonus points for the staff being friendly & explaining their menu, as well as being bilingual, & for the husband/wife owners explaining their story.

As someone who has lived in VERDUN for 20 years, I've had my fair share of pizza from various places in the greater Verdun area. However, this particular pizza joint truly caught me by surprise & left me thoroughly impressed. It's safe to say that their pizzas are nothing short of amazing & offer a unique twist that sets them apart from the traditional Italian or American-style pizzas.
The standout feature of their pizza is the delightfully crispy & thin crust. Paired with the carefully selected cheese, it creates a mouthwatering combination that had me craving for more. I highly recommend their pizzas with a rating of A++++++. In fact, I'm eager to return & explore the rest of their menu, as I have no doubt that the other dishes will be equally exceptional.
In summary, this pizza place in VERDUN has redefined my pizza expectations, & I can't wait to savor their offerings again.View more
