Display Allpizza(549) style(113) detroit(96) slice(77) sauce(64) crust(48) new york(40) sicilian(33) dough(30)In our pizza jaunt my friend & I decided to sample all three thicknesses of pizza that Welldun has to offer. The sheer fact that there were three different types of crust is enough to wow me but we then had to decide on the actual contents of the pizza. Luckily the restaurant has options & we chose to maximize our pizza sampling power. All three slices were a hit made even better with my classic drink, an ice cold ginger ale which they thankfully do also carry, likely knowing about the power of the combo. A fantastic adventure that tested my mindView more
On a beautiful stroll on Wellington, we passed Welldun, a place I wanted to try so badly. We had not had lunch but being close to dinner, we opted to order one New York style slice & asked them to cut it in two. They were so kind to do so, service with a big smile, & the pizza.....delish!! the sauce was amazing as was the crust & cheeses. Don't walk, run to this place! Pic is of the half slice. Oh & they have different style pizzas from super thick Detroit style to the thin New York style.View more
I'm sure the pizza must taste really good here, but we went in tonight at 6pm, got in line, expecting it would be maybe 5-10 minutes. After 20 minutes of standing in line, we'd barely moved halfway & it was so hot inside we had to leave. All the customers looked like they'd been waiting a long time & there were so many phone orders being made it seems like it must take a really long time to be served. Very strange for a place where you order at the cash & there are slices on display to choose from. Obvious issues with the process. We'll try again on a quiet night.View more
A bit of a wait to order your pizza but it's worth it. The food is delicious we got the vodka & bacon Detroit style & it was amazing. I will note the restaurant was very Smokey & hot so be prepared for that as you wait for your slice.View more
Best slice of pizza you will have in Montreal. Full of flavour, fresh ingredients & some of the most original recipes you will see in town. It's like gourmet food on a budget without sacrificing the flavour. I'm on the east side of Montreal & it's worth the drive. HABLAN ESPAÑOLView more
I waited so long to try this place & I was wish I would've gone sooner. I'm in love. Every slice was better than the other & the service was awesome. I can't wait to go back. I recommend this place to everyoneView more
This place is a must visit in Montreal!!! The pizza was genuinely the best pizza me & my husband have ever had in our lives. We got a slice of the grandma Margherita to taste, & a box of Detroit style pizza with burrata on top. Somehow we couldnt decide which pizza was better, because they were both so good. Everything is made fresh to order, they give you great recommendations on what to eat & the flavor combinations (they really know their flavour profiles). Plus the restaurant is super clean, we were very impressed with the cleanliness. If that wasn't enough, to top it all off the customer service is truly unmatched, everyone was super friendly & seemed to love what they do. I live hours away from Montreal & can't wait to go back!!! We recommended this place to all of our friends. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!!! Outstanding place!View more
One of the best slices of pizza's in the city that I have yet to try. All the toppings were great, the crusts these pizza's have are crazy good. Highly recommend this place to anybody in the city or if you're visiting. **only downside was the front cash girl said no other pizza's are available, but then another customer after me asked the same & she said yes but you might have to wait. I mentioned to her that I'd gladly wait for bigger selection but I didn't get the same response as somebody else**View more
Each slice is packed with flavors & taste & the dough compliments each on its own. Superb texture & will definitely be back to try out the remaining flavors. Thank youView more
Went there with a friend & their kid & we a good time. The pizza is tasty & personally with one slice I was full! It's super crispy & fresh. Theres a lot of vegetarian option too & really what made it so good is the sauce 🍅. Theres also morreti beer on tap, so thats a plus & you can also dine in :)View more
Every aspect of the pizza: toppings, sauce & dough are amazing here!! The dough is chewy & elastic, with a little bit of tang from the sourdough-style fermentation. I enjoy every style of pizza they serve, just choose based on your mood. If you're indulging, go for the cheesy crust of the Detroit-style & if you want something lighter but still crispy & filling, the New York & Grandma-style are good options. The toppings taste fresh, & they are definitely generous. The sauce is balanced between sweet & tangy & perfectly complements the dough. If dining in, there's a spicy olive oil that I love to smother my pizza with. One slice is quite filling but I always want more! One of my favourite pizza spots in Montreal!View more
Not sure what to call it but it was a rectangle of pizza. I chose the Sicilian Pepperoni & ordered it to go but warmed up. It took them almost 20 minutes to bring me my "slice". Was it worth the wait? Nope. I'm not sure if it's their sauce or the pepperoni but the pizza is way too salty. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed.View more
My first visit to welldun Pizza. I had the Sicilian pepperoni slice. It was amazing. The dough light, fluffy & crispy. Sauce was nice & tangy, & they put lots of pepperoni, which made a bit too salty but still very good. I will definitely be back to try other slices. Brought home a Margherita pie that was delicious. 9.1/10 outstanding 👌View more
I came here on Saturday March 9th around 1pm & was greeted with nice warm smile from the staff over the counter, asked me how my day was & if they could get me anything. Right out the gate I'm very happy! I got a square of the Detroit pepperoni & it was good! I have never had Detroit style before & it was hard to rank it among other slices of pizza because it's not a slice, it's more like a fluffy crispy lasagne. It's hard to judge something I've never had before but if I could critique anything it would be that the tomato sauce was a little bland, maybe it's just me (probably is) but it's something I noticed. I also wasn't ready for the tomato sauce falling off lol Overall I loved it! I see some other reviews on here saying that it's "too expensive" but you gotta realize that in today's economy, stuff overall is expensive. So, to get a square of this for $6/$7 is a DEAL! 10/10 Atmosphere - 9/10 Food & taste - 10/10 ServiceView more
Definitely slices that are well worth the wait. Headed over to Welldun after the PWHL game & despite the steady crowd of customers, they were kind, provided excellent service, & served me some of the best pizza I've had in MTL. Ingredients are clearly high quality & the behind-the-counter operation runs like a very well-oiled machine. Elected to get a few slices as opposed to ordering; delicious variety available & new pizzas are being added periodically throughout the day. Will absolutely be back!View more
Great fresh slices & a nice crust ! Would only say they were lacking slices for the lunch rush but I'm sure with time they'll get it sortedView more
Overall very good experience & good pizza spot. I really like the fact that you could choose different types of slices like a Sicilian, Detroit, Grand-Ma & more for a decent price. Their slices are very tasty & fresh. What I loved the most is the fact that the dought is fresh & always in the making. A took off one star just because of the quality of the ingredients, I noticed that most of the ingredients where frozen which I found disappointed. However, it didn't changed nothing to the taste & to the variety of choices that they offer.View more
I visited Welldun with some friends while doing a pizza run in MTL. We we're pretty astonished as to how good every single slice we had was. Needless to say, Welldun outscored the other 5 stops, & we went to the top slices of the city. 4 different crusts are offered. The sauce, the cheese, the toppings, immaculate. If Verdun is far from you, it's worth the detour.View more
The pizza was really good but very expensive. It's a good place to grab a slice but was over 70 bucks for 2 small size pizza. The quality was superior but at a cost.View more
Superb Detroit (Sicilian) style, classic round Grandama as well as more traditional varieties of sliced pizzas. Priced from about $6 & up. Top quality ingredients, best pizza by the slice anywhere in Verdun.View more
I ordered 3 different slices today & they were all delicious. My favourite was the bacon vodka sauce. My only comment was once my slices were warmed & removed from the oven it took a while before someone noticed them sitting on the counter waiting to be boxed.View more
Drove out of our way today from the south shore to try this place out after seeing it on social media. I wasn't expecting much but it was actually really good, the dough was incredible & I know everyone will go for the square slices but the New York style Margherita pizza was actually surprisingly solid. Only a few negatives because nothing is perfect & everything can be improved, 1. The NY Style Margherita pizza was really too light on sauce to the point where it was a little dry. Dough/crust was incredible, flavors were good but just a little dry. If it had a little more sauce to balance it out I would gladly order a whole pie. 2. The Vodka sauce detroit slice had about 50% less burrata on it than what you see on social media - but it was really good nonetheless. 3. The person I was with got the detroit style pepperoni slice & quite a chunk of pepperonis were really burnt to a crisp more than just a crispy edge, nearly half the surface of the entire pepperoni. Not sure if its supposed to be like that We're already planning on coming back it was really good overall.View more

I wish I could give 6/5 stars! This might be one of the best slices of pizza to have graced my palate since visiting the motherland.
Count yourself lucky to live in Montreal where places like this exist. Their pizza is definitely a cut above the rest (pun intended), especially in the area (no offense to other pizza places, but there’s no contest).
4 different styles to choose from - I went with Detroit because it is just so different from what we typically see. I chose the Vodka Bacon, & I’m so glad I did….it blew me away.
I can describe it in detail but, really, what you need to do is just go try it yourself. The perfect combination of textures & flavours. Heaven in every bite.
Will definitely be back soon. I mean I nearly went back after my first bite to get another slice.
Bonus points for the staff being friendly & explaining their menu, as well as being bilingual, & for the husband/wife owners explaining their story.
Reasonable prices.View more
Had a slice of the bacon square & we ordered the round margarita pizza both were excellent can’t wait to try the other flavours next time.View more
