Pizza was incredible. We tried every variety & every crust type (Detroit, NY etc). Our favorite was the white pizza - it was unique & balanced. The meat pizzas were amazing too but salty from all the meat (not bad, just not my thing). Service was great; the line was long when we walked in but moved fast.View more

Just straight up boooomb pizza. The NYC slice was so good. Even the Detroit pizzas which I don't normally love were excellent. The staff was so friendly they made more NYC slices even though they were technically out of it in the display case. I was told by local friends that this was some of the best - if not the best - pizza in Montreal & boy it didn't disappoint.View more

I've never been this impressed with a Pizzeria in Montreal! Truly a revelation in a sea of mediocrity. The sauce in the pizzas (whether red or vodka) was flavorful, incredible undercarriage on all 4 styles (NYC, Detroit, Sicilian & Grandma style) & the pepperoni is really solid. Incredible, & I have been to Frank Pepe's, Sally's in New Haven, as well as Joes & places on Bleeker street in Manhattan & this is certainly in the convo among best pizzas I have had anywhere. C'est un clap de fin, après 1 an à leurs côtés ! Qui de mieux qu'une (ancienne) employée pour vous conseiller Welldun Pizza ! Alors après un an à vous servir des pointes de NY, de grand-mère, de sicilienne & de détroit (& à les manger à raison d'au moins deux fois par semaine 😅) je ne peux que vous les conseiller avec une mention spéciale pour la NY & la Grand-mère Margherita + hot honey 🍯 ! Parce qu'en plus de savoir qu'elles sont excellentes, je sais qu'elles sont faites dans un endroit sain, familial & amical. Dany & Anaïs (les propriétaires) ont créé un bel environnement où l'on a envie de revenir même les vendredis soirs pour des line-up de 3h avec Ismail, Yannick, Martin, Nancy & Oscar 😩😎 ! Alors si une employée (ancienne employée, mais prête à remettre le tablier & la casquette 😎) qui connaît « les secrets de fabrications » & les personnes qui y travaillent, vous dit que vous pouvez vous régaler à Welldun Pizza, c'est que vous pouvez ! This place never disappoints. With every visit we make it keeps getting better & better. The Detroit style vodka bacon pizza just slaps everytime & is my go-to square. The Sicilian-style pepperoni is a really close 2nd with its crispy pep slices. The dough is so pillowy & addictive. You can definitely see the love they put into this place with the quality of the pizza. I highly recommend it!View more

Ne laissez pas la grande file d'attente vous décourager(normalement c'est même bon signe) car l'attente le vaut vraiment. Nous avons pris la Detroit vodka bacon & c'est une des meilleures pizza que j'ai gouté de toute ma vie. I have been looking for the best pizza in Montreal. & this place hands down is the best. My favorite is the New York. Everything is high quality. 2nd is Detroit pesto vodka 3rd Grandma Coming back soon. The cashier is kind & amazing, she was very hospitable, even under a lot of pressure & even while being so busy. Please don't forget to tip them good, they work in the heat, next to an oven all day. I did that job before. Trust me they deserve the tip.View more

We arrived about half an hour before they closed & the place was really crowded. I suggest you take your time because there wasn't many options left by the take out turn came. We wanted to order margarita but they ran out, we got 3 Detroit styles which were really good, & a Grand-Mere which was the best dough for us! Best pizza I've ever had in Montreal for sure!View more

Oh myyyyy goodness! As a huge fan of American-Itallian pizza I am always on the hunt for something similar tasting available locally. Until now, the search hasn't been successful... I've tried the other mtl "NY" styled slice shops, & while they are good, they pale in comparison to the "real thing". Welldun is such a gem in MTL! We ordered New York slices as well as Detroit & they were both incredible & very authentic! Perfectly balanced in flavour, acidity, crisp & chew... Beautiful selection, friendly service & very clean. Great first experience & I will most certainly be back! Would be awesome if they introduce a Chicago deep dish as well!View more

Hands down the best pizza I've ever had. A unique spot in that they have 4 styles to choose from (NY, Detroit, Sicilian, & Grandma) & all of them done exceptionally well. Most pizza spots usually just stick with one style, or two. My favourites were the Sicilian pepperoni & Detroit vodka sauce with pesto. I would recommend dining-in so you can get the slices freshly re-heated out of the oven.View more

On a beautiful stroll on Wellington, we passed Welldun, a place I wanted to try so badly. We had not had lunch but being close to dinner, we opted to order one New York style slice & asked them to cut it in two. They were so kind to do so, service with a big smile, & the pizza.....delish!! the sauce was amazing as was the crust & cheeses. Don't walk, run to this place! Pic is of the half slice. I've now been here twice & it's been amazing both times. BEST PIZZA IN MONTREAL & you can say it louder for the people in the back. I've had the Detroit style Vodka bacon pizza & 3 different Sicilian ones (spicy sausage, vege & carnivore) & they were all incredible: perfect thickness, perfect temperature, perfectly cooked & the perfect amount of each topping. Notre pizzeria préférée étant fermé aujourd'hui, quelqu'un a proposé de commander chez welldun, WOW WOW WOW, quelle délicieuse pizza!!! Peut-être la meilleure pizza que j'ai jamais mangé! nous avons commandé des detroit pizza style la carnivore & la vodka bacon, quel regal!!! La croute est démente! This place is a must visit in Montreal!!! The pizza was genuinely the best pizza me & my husband have ever had in our lives. We got a slice of the grandma Margherita to taste, & a box of Detroit style pizza with burrata on top. Somehow we couldnt decide which pizza was better, because they were both so good. Everything is made fresh to order, they give you great recommendations on what to eat & the flavor combinations (they really know their flavour profiles). Plus the restaurant is super clean, we were very impressed with the cleanliness. If that wasn't enough, to top it all off the customer service is truly unmatched, everyone was super friendly & seemed to love what they do. I live hours away from Montreal & can't wait to go back!!! We recommended this place to all of our friends. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!!! Outstanding place!View more

Very good pizza in the neighborhoods of Verdun. We had the NY (New York style pizza), Margarita (Flatbread pizza), Detroit (deep dish pizza) & the Sicilian (more like a Roman pizza - in my opinion). The were all very good made with fresh ingredients & the famous tomato Bianco Dinapoli. Love it too because you can try different styles of pizza at the same time. Every aspect of the pizza: toppings, sauce & dough are amazing here!! The dough is chewy & elastic, with a little bit of tang from the sourdough-style fermentation. I enjoy every style of pizza they serve, just choose based on your mood. If you're indulging, go for the cheesy crust of the Detroit-style & if you want something lighter but still crispy & filling, the New York & Grandma-style are good options. The toppings taste fresh, & they are definitely generous. The sauce is balanced between sweet & tangy & perfectly complements the dough. If dining in, there's a spicy olive oil that I love to smother my pizza with. One slice is quite filling but I always want more! One of my favourite pizza spots in Montreal!View more
