This cute & cozy cafe/boulangerie serves amazing cappuccino! The prune ponki was extremely delicious & a must try! The staff is very sweet & friendly. Definely going multiple times.

Service excellent. Les beignes étaient bons, mais sans plus. Je crois que cela dépend de notre palette de goût; je suis habituée à plus sucré donc ils ne l'étaient pas suffisamment à mon goût! Je recommande celui aux pruneaux!

Kinda small & there are a lot of imported retail things that make it more a bakery/boutique & less an eat in "café". Which is ok because it's not a café. Baked goods are always fresh & delicious. I try to get in when i want a treat. Apple turnovers are my personal favourite. Be nice to the staff. Its a family & you could be family too

Polish bakery. My go to is the prune filled "ponki" doughnut. Best when they are fresh. Wawel also offers, meats & sausages, pre-made sandwiches, hot food like pierogies, & coffees.

C'était ma première visite & j'ai beaucoup aimé. Sandwich au fromage de tête, salade de betteraves, paczki aux prunes. Délicieux . & on n'a même pas demandé un pourboire. Merci!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Wawel after a great game of tennis, & I must say, it's a hidden gem! The salad was hands down the best I've ever had - fresh, flavorful, & perfectly balanced. The bread was simply divine, crispy on the outside & soft on the inside. & don't even get me started on the coffee - rich, aromatic, & just the right pick-me-up! The warm, inviting atmosphere & the friendly staff made the experience even better. If you're looking for a place that serves incredible food with a personal touch, look no further. Highly recommend!

Polish food & music, staff is wonderful, kind & they prepare everything on the spot for you, it's a corner of Europe in Montréal where the Perogies are just the start of all the great things they offer. Iced coffee is amazing too ! Had their pastries the time I came before & they offer no taxes if you buy 6, they are great & they have plenty of options.
