Walter Bistro is a hidden gem located on Fleury Street. First impressions are mostly positive. Service was impeccable & the food was solid. I started with a fried halloumi salad & then had the pizza, both dishes were good. My wife had the arugula salad with chicken. My friend had the French onion soup & burger. I would recommend Walter Bistro, I wouldn't have people rushing there but it's a good option on any given night.
Beau bistro. J'ai essayé L'expérience Walter & tout était excellent, le braisé particulièrement. Le service était supérieur à la norme & Anabelle, notre hôte, compréhensive & gentille. Je recommande fortement.

I have tried a few restaurants in the north of Montreal & I can confidently say that this is one of the best. I was surprised by the affordable prices, the food is really good & the service is just perfect. A great plus is that later at night there are some empty tables so you can always arrive without a reservation. I have been there twice & I'm sure I'll be back again. Keep up the good work Walter Bistro!
Service excellent & le manger est superbe. Depuis longtemps on voit que la qualité de leurs mets & vraiment hors pair. C'est beaucoup plus bistro, cest un restaurant de haute niveau. Ca va vaut vraiment la peine.
Avec autant d'options de restos & bar sur Fleury, ça peut devenir difficile de choisir. Ce Bistro est un choix facile. On y mange toujours bien, la bière est bonne, les employés sont gentils & souriants. Certain plats sont 5 à 10 plus chers qu'ailleurs, mais je préfère payer plus & être assuré de bien manger, que d'économiser & manger mal.
Ambiance bistrot chic mais pas trop, service impeccable & la nourriture à la hauteur de mes attentes. La carte propose une poutine à la bavette qui vaut vraiment le détour! Je n'ai pas mis 5 étoiles car du côté des desserts, ça manquait un peu de saveur. Bel endroit, je recommande ce classique de la rue Fleury!

L'entrée & le plat principal étaient simples mais bien exécutés, & à prix correct. Les cannollis au dessert étaient quelconques, pâte dûre, garniture peu goûteuse. Par contre le service était attentionné & sympatique. Nous retournerons au Bistro Walter.
Service très courtois & professionnel. Grande amabilité, sourire & patience (avec un groupe de 6). Nourriture par ailleurs excellente. Rien à redire. Sans contredit, la meilleure table "bistro" du quartier.

Thank you for not asking us to leave by 8pm especially because we had someone out of town & they were late. I loved the white wine broth of the muscles I ate. My friends enjoyed the poutine. Thank you for the wine recommendations. I was there celebrating my birthday & today I am still getting birthday wishes to whom I am saying we went to Walter Bistro & loved it. Thank you for a pleasant experience. We will be returning with friends.

Ohh wow! Quelle belle découverte! Un menu exceptionnel pour tous les goûts. Allez voir le site & vous allez comprendre pourquoi il faut ajouter ce bistro sur votre liste de ''must go ''. La bavette fût parfaite, les cocktails (oui... LES cocktails!) exquis & le service de Marie Dominique sans égal. Merci pour tes suggestions & une belle soirée. Nous avons hâte d'y retourner.
