I spoke to the owner before this place opened & knew when he told me what it was, that it would not work, lasted only 3 months & already defaulted on the rent. the place was always empty & is way too big for a coffee shop & the rent is like 8k a month, that is a lot of waffles & coffee. so too bad for this place, the owner said he had another place not far & warranted opening another location, hope this did not hurt him or bankrupt him financially......

I got a maple syrup waffle & a cappichuimo . it was absolutely amazing , coffee was great & hot & waffle was very tasty. atmosphere was really unique , there wasn't anyone else in there . great place for a quick snack or coffee.

Fake, we really enjoyed watching the influencers get a completely different drinks than what we received. Then we got double charged, requested a refund, & was told it'd have to be given after as they were busy. No refund was given.
If the coffee & food had been decent maybe I wouldn't have minded as much but it was terrible. There's better pastries at the grocery store.
Edit: See their reply below. I came twice because I was ignored the first time & no refund was ever processed. Or do you deny this?
Second I stand by what I said, this was the worst place we visited in Montreal. The picture I left was what we were served, very different than what the influencers were given.

As a first-time visitor to the beautiful city of Montréal, I found this place to be the perfect rest stop to unwind & plan my next course. The waffles are sumptuously sweet & delicious, the coffee is tastily & delicately balanced, & the postmodern, stripped-down ambiance lends itself to a period of quiet reflection away from the fray. Would recommend if you're staying in the entertainment district-five stars!

The waffle was delicious, haven't had time to try their coffee yet but the staff was super nice. It's convenient to have a local spot right under our apartment building. Everyone was welcoming, I'll be back!
