My girlfriend & I had visited Montreal for a short vacation, & Vivaldi was on my list to go to for quite some time.
A while back, I had watched Chef Steve make hundreds of videos of his food, & I said we have to go there & check it out. As soon as we walked in, you could see how clean the entirety of the restaurant was & we were greeted with a warm welcome & smiles.
The hostess asked if we were visiting from somewhere & I explained we were on vacation & how we heard about the restaurant. I further explained I wanted to come to Vivaldi because I really like what Chef Steve is doing in his videos.
As we glossed over the menu, Chef Steve came over to our table & introduced himself. I was excited, as I have been a fan for quite some time, & we shared where we are from. I then explained it is difficult to find genuine hospitality in the United States (very few regular places I go to), & I am glad we made the stop to his restaurant.
Our waiter was really nice as well. Very pleasant & gave solid recommendations. We had ordered the penne vodka & the fettuccine pollo con crema & both were incredible. To top it off, we ordered tiramisu.
My experience overall was great. My girlfriend & I are foodies, & I can honestly say this is a place to go back to. The restaurant filled up really quickly after we arrive, & I am certain that you will also have a great time. To Chef Steve & the staff, thank you thank you thank you, for making our trip to Montreal to remember & we will most definitely be back when we return to Montreal!!

Food was excellent. Was disapointed that we did not get to see Steve but at least we got a glance of Spiro.

We had an amazing dinner at Vivaldi! As fans of Chef Steve & the whole crew on social media, we'd been wanting to come for a long time to finally taste the food we'd seen them prepare. Vivaldi did not disappoint - the dishes tasted just as good as they looked in the videos.
We even had the chance to meet Steve, such a great guy! Between the incredible food & the excellent service, all four of us truly enjoyed our plates. We're now even bigger fans of Steve & Vivaldi !
Le meilleur Fish & chips que j'ai mangé depuis longtemps. Nous étions quatre & tous les plats étaient délicieux.
My family have celebrated 2 very important milestone events at this establishment & we have had an amazing time on both occasions. The food is very tasty, with good portions & staff are very polite & attentive.
Worthy of notable mention was our server Dean; excellent customer service & very patient & accommodating. Dean, I hope this message gets back to you; customer service & care is so important in this day & can easily make or break a customer's experience. You are always the gold standard & our family has voiced how awesome you were on both occasions. Thank you very much & we look forward to returning to this restaurant.
If you want really good pasta & pizza well if you just want really good food, this is the best in town, the service & the food 5/5

By chance I discovered this gem of a restaurant on social media & to find out it's in my old neighborhood. So I decided to bring my family to dinner & find out what it's about. They didn't disappoint my family & myself. From the appetizers through the main course & finally the awesome desserts. They didn't fail us in anyway.
One of the best Italian places in the West Island, amazing service, the food is amazing, the restaurant it self tho isn't facinating.
My first time there, to celebrate a friend's birthday. I was told they have 2 seatings, but our reserved spot for about 18 was able to stay for most of the evening. I had table d'hôte of grilled salmon. Was very tasty & moist, all veggies were al dente just how I like it with rice. Entrees were shared & what I noticed with my meal, all entrees were all nice & hot, freshly made. My minestrone soup was tasty but could have been a bit hotter when served. But that's me...all in all I would return. I tried a bite of some chicken marsala (my friends order), very good. Our waiters kept the water glasses full & were very helpful. Good service. For our large group, all was served in a timely matter, no long waiting. No loud music, very busy spot, but all our conversations were heard & shared which was nice. We didn't have to yell back & forth to one another! Most of the guests looked happy while they ate !
Dined at Vivaldi New Years Eve & it was perfect. Minnestrone soup was tasty, the mussels marinara was plentiful. The veal marsala was tasty & fresh & the grilled salmon was seared & seasoned perfectly. Service was attentive without feeling rushed.
Great service & food. Great portions, for the price & its byob! A true gem in the West Island.
First time here & it was a very pleasant surprise, the service was amazing. The food was unreal & the atmosphere was joyous! Maybe a little louder than I would have liked but it was Christmas time after all LOL. Highly recommend these guys!!
Great food. Great atmosphere. Came here all the way from Toronto for my birthday after following the restaurant on social media for an awhile. Was not dissatisfied. Had the bruschetta, gnocchi & pizza. Everything was fresh & delicious & the service was awesome. Even got to meet the man himself! Really appreciate taking the time & care to make my birthday feel special. Would come again 10/10. Also, for the quality the price was incredible. Can't wait to come back. Vivaldi!
Was at Vivaldi recently to celebrate a milestone birthday. We were a group of 8. The service was great, considering that the restaurant was busy & we were a big group. The food was amazing. Pizza, garlic shrimp, roasted potatoes, pasta & the grand Marnier chocolate cheesecake. These are some of the dishes was sampled & they were fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant for celebrations or simply to have a nice meal out of the house.
Vivaldi, Vivaldi, & more Vivaldi - that's the only way to describe Vivaldi in Montreal. From the second you step into Vivaldi, you know Vivaldi means business. The vibe at Vivaldi is classic, cozy, & unmistakably Vivaldi, making Vivaldi the kind of place you immediately want to tell people about so they can experience Vivaldi for themselves.
The food at Vivaldi is peak Vivaldi. Every bite at Vivaldi tastes like Vivaldi cared deeply about your happiness. Appetizers? Vivaldi. Entrées? Pure Vivaldi. Desserts? Unapologetically Vivaldi. Whatever you order at Vivaldi, just know Vivaldi is about to deliver a full Vivaldi experience.
Service at Vivaldi deserves a standing Vivaldi ovation. The staff at Vivaldi are professional, friendly, & fully committed to making sure your time at Vivaldi is nothing short of Vivaldi perfection. Vivaldi doesn't just serve food - Vivaldi serves hospitality, & Vivaldi serves it well.
If you are in Montreal & you don't go to Vivaldi, did you even Montreal properly? Vivaldi is the reason Vivaldi has a reputation. Vivaldi is the moment. Vivaldi is the standard. I will be thinking about Vivaldi long after leaving Vivaldi, & I will absolutely be returning to Vivaldi for more Vivaldi as soon as possible.

Vraiment excellent en tout point. La nourriture était excellente, le serveur était au petit soin & le chef a même pris le temps de venir me souhaiter bonne fête. Je recommande à 100%. Très le fun de voir la cuisine du coin de l'oeil pendant le souper, ça rajoute à l'ambiance.
