So I reviewed the reviews of this restaurant & immediately got the feeling that this is a version of the famous sources boulevard Italian eateries called Del Friscos. I happen to generally enjoy Del Friscos so I thought I would try Vivaldis. So here is the review. Interior. Basic & lacking sound absorption so it's quite a noisy place - but so is Del Friscos for the same reason. Value. Portion is reasonable as is the freshness of ingredients. In terms of what you're going to eat as a dish on the whole this is a little different. We had a house salad, cheese pizza, & chicken Parmesan with tomato sauce & noodles as its accompaniment. The pizza sauce lacked zest & it tasted on the bland side. The dough was fine in flavour & texture but was a very floppy crust line a dominos or pizza pizza crust & you can only eat this by folding the slice it using a knife & fork. Salad was a good portion with nice ingredients though appears bland as there is no flair to it such as shaved Parmesan or colourful veggies except for a hot pepper. The chicken parm was the weakest dish. The chicken was about 25% while the breading was about 75% & was also cooked too much & tasted somewhat burnt. When you cut into the chicken all the breading fell off indicating poor technique in the breading if the chicken. The size of the thinned out chicken breast was actually not very large are you remove all the breading & as such your made to think you have a large portion with all the cheese covered breaded chicken, where in fact there very little chicken which at near $30 it should have a decent sized piece of chicken. An example of a proper sized chicken breast can easily be seen at Del Friscos where it's always juicy (here it was thin & consequently dry), moist, tender, lightly breaded where the breading remains on the chicken when you cut into it. Additionally there is not sufficient sauce which is one of the cheapest ingredients & should not be skimped on. As with the pasta it was really nothing special. A small portion of noodles & then a lack lustre tomato sauce. I like more sauce to my pasta as it's what it's all about, unless you have fresh pasta. & as such asked for extra sauce. There was no extra sauce & the noodles were lightly touched with the sauce. Now some people believe that this is the way to eat their noodles however I am not of the same kind. So if you enjoy little sauce with your pasta the. You are just fine. The slightly warmed buns we fine & had a lovely aroma, however, the type of bread they use makes it not as soft & a harder chewy crusty that's even a slight challenge to test it apart in two. Not that the issue is strength to split, the point is to have a light airy almost pollowy roll. Bring your own wine is nice. Service was adequate as well. The audience appears to be a majority of 55 years & older so perhaps this is like a Miami early bird crowd. Not a date night place.
I love this hidden Gem! The chicken parmigiana was the best I ever had. I changed my pasta for some tortellini rosée & we shared a pizza ( bacon onions for me ) everything was amazing. Good service, nice ambiance & you can bring your own wine/beer. Will be back!
I ordered 2 pastas & a cheese bread for dinner & I was told to arrive at 7:30pm exactly 40 mins after the order was placed but upon arrival I was asked to pay & then I had to wait another 22 mins at the restaurant & the waitress did offer chocolate cake slices for keeping us waiting but I declined the offer. I guess they were genuinely busy but they could've easily told me to arrive at a later time. As far as food is concerned it was fresh, well flavoured & tasty but presentation has room for improvement in my opinion considering it is a fine dining restaurant. I would definitely go back again just for the food.
This is our favourite & go to restaurant. We celebrate most milestones there & take out our friends & family when possible. Great food. Great service. The only thing I would love is a whole grain/multi grain pasta option for diabetics. We try & limit our visits because of this & this would give us the option of going more often.
Awesome food. Everything we ordered was delicious, appetizers, salad, pasta, pizza. Fresh & generous portions. Our waiter was a little slow & inattentive but it was very busy. I appreciated seeing a diligent kitchen manager making sure all the food was moving smoothly, & I'm pretty sure the owner or manager was there taking care of all the small details. A very well run restaurant!
Overall solid restaurant. Dishes are simple & tasty. Pastas & apps were good. Being able to bring your own wine is nice. Good service. Atmosphere & interior design is basic, but I would eat there again.
Vivaldi is a local gem. Dave & his team have crafted a unique dining experience. The food is bursting with flavor, especially the pasta dishes. Plus, it’s a bring-your-own-wine spot, making it even better. Don’t miss this fantastic local restaurant!

I was so disappointed as were the other 2 people with me. First my soggy ceaser salad had 7 CROUTONS in it. I actually counted them because i don't eat carbs so i took them out.I ordered a garlic shrimp dish for $27 & since i dont eat carbs & i came with rice or 2 potatoes or pasta i asked if the can just put a little extra garlic butter on my vegetables cuz i wasnt having the potatoes or rice or pasta & the waiter said it will be $4.00 extra for the garlic butter. OMG I told him to take off the price for the rice & potatoes & pasta since i wasn't having any of that he said he had to charge me an extra $4 FOR GARLIC BUTTER!!!!!!!! I told him forget it so i got 6 shrimp a piece of broccoli a carrot a piece of yellow & red pepper that all had NO flavor at all. That was just my meal the other 2 people had no better than me. Apparently one of the girls said the best part of the meal was the BREAD hahahahaha, & io'm not joking about that either. The meal was very expensive $142.00 PLUS tip. I go out a lot & go to expensive restaurants & cheaper ones & i never mind paying for a good meal BUT even at $10 this meal was very unenjoyable & tasteless & soggy.

Service is A1, food is really good, ambiance is awesome, great for parties & for romantic dinners all at once.
I wouldn't describe this as an Italian restaurant, there isn't any tippically italian dishes on the menu, even when it comes to the pasta.
But all around would recommend, & will definitely will go back.
